The Senate Judiciary Committee caved in, but the people will not!

The grassroots group vowed to continue mobilizing ordinary people around the country to call on their Senators to reject this unprecedented expansion of presidential power.

MUST READ: President Bush's Reality

Washington, DC - Instead of using the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks as an opportunity to unify the country, President Bush instead marked the solemn occasion by using divisive and misleading rhetoric once again falsely conflating the war in Iraq and the war on terror. An editorial in today's New York Times notes that "Iraq had nothing to do with the war on terror until the Bush administration decided to invade it." The President claims that America is safer today because of the Iraq War. Unfortunately, the opposite is true.
