Seniors BEWARE, the Repuglicans and all their groups want to privatize Social Security and Medicare! "Seniors May Be Giving Up AARP Membership in Favor of Groups Trying to Privatize Medicare, Social Security" Privatization means your Social Security benefits are gone, Medicare is gone, down the tubes, kaput, over! These guys don't think a spit about scaring the bejezzus out of you, they don't give a damn about protecting your benefits -- the Repuglicans have lied before and they will do whatever it takes to accomplish their goals, including a convoluted back door patriotic sounding group that is really nothing more than a scam to do away with Social Security and Medicare.

In listening to the Repuglicans and the all those on the radical right to include mainstream corporate media over the weekend, one could actually think America had entered "The Cuckoo's Nest" with Jack Nicholson for real! From the Repuglican lawmakers commentary to the news anchors aggressively interviewing the Democrats; from the bobblehead pundits to the protestors who offered up their inaccurate statements, it certainly seemed that it was the "Twilight Zone" for sure! My grandmother always said "actions speak louder than words" and the words the Repuglicans continue to utter regarding healthcare reform and "bipartisanship" when they're actually doing nothing whatsoever proves she was correct!

Not only is Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) an offensive boor, but also he's stupid!!! "On a 2002 live broadcast of the C-SPAN talk show Washington Journal, guests Wilson and Democratic congressman Bob Filner were discussing Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. When Filner stated that the U.S. 'gave' Iraq 'chemical and biological weapons' in the 1980s, Wilson accused Filner that the idea was 'made up' and commented to Filner 'This hatred of America by some people is just outrageous. And you need to get over that.' Wilson apologized for his remarks in statements to the press." It has been common knowledge for some time now, that indeed America did support Iraq during the Iraq/Iran war! "Support from the U.S. for Iraq was not a secret and was frequently discussed in open session of the Senate and House of Representatives, although the public and news media paid little attention. On June 9, 1992, Ted Koppel reported on ABC's Nightline, 'It is becoming increasingly clear that George Bush, operating largely behind the scenes throughout the 1980s, initiated and supported much of the financing, intelligence, and military help that built Saddam's Iraq into' the power it became', and 'Reagan/Bush administrations permitted -- and frequently encouraged -- the flow of money, agricultural credits, dual-use technology, chemicals, and weapons to Iraq.'"

My grandmother always said, "ugly on the inside, ugly on the outside" and that certainly holds true whenever the TV camera panned over to the right side of the aisle during the President's speech last night. We saw ugly personified, and it wasn't just the captain of incivility Joe Wilson (R-SC), it was the whole lot of them, all the Repuglicans! The Repuglican faces, the scowls reflected nothing but negative, it reminded me of all the reasons the American people have rejected the Repuglicans, the American people rejected the Repuglican "my way or the highway" of doing the people's business! Rude and crude can also be added to the unacceptable Repuglican behavior, negativity is a constant for the Repuglicans and it doesn't do a thing for the good of the Country!!!

Talk about s*#t for brains, Pat Buchanan takes the cake. "Hitler didn't want war" is about the stupidest, most inane statement Buchanan has made to date. Does he really believe his drivel or is he attempting to absolve those entities that supported the Nazis? Is he trying to justify support for the radical "white supremacist" movement? When all is said and done is Pat Buchanan nothing more than a racist? He shouldn't be given a venue for his hate-filled nonsense!

The whole world is finding out that Chuck Grassley really is nothing more than a lying Repuglican hypocrite. He is NOT negotiating, he does NOT want healthcare reform. Beware of Grassley, he's just another Repuglican who ultimately wants to eliminate Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

After hearing both Tom Ridge and Alberto Gonzales backpedal on the truth, you have to wonder what happened to make them do the two-step! Were they threatened? Were they promised the world? What happened to the truth -- oh yes, I forget, these guys are Repuglicans and they can't tell the truth!!!

Time to dump the double talker, the Repuglican weasel, the just say NO guy who has no intention of seriously negotiating health care reform. The whole world knows Chuck Grassley is NOT a man of his word, he's a liar and a cheat, he's insincere and dishonest and now we know why -- "Grassley is a member of The Family, the Christian political organization that organizes the National Prayer Breakfast." You remember "The Family" the "C Street" gang, the ones who believe they can do no wrong because they think they've been "chosen by God to run the government of the United States of America. This is another example of why the Founding Fathers sought to Constitutionally separate Church and State, the Founding Fathers came to this country to escape theocratic governments, not to establish one! If you think you've got it bad now, just wait and see what will happen if these guys are allowed to continue their quest -- this isn't your father's brand of Christianity. This is radical Christian extremism. Just remember, "Theocratic governments enact theonomic laws."

Dick Cheney and simple minded Repuglicans like to say, "we had a track record now of eight years of defending the nation against any further mass casualty attacks from Al Qaeda." Of course, no one is talking about the fact that Al Qaida carried out the worst attack ever on American soil just a few short months after Bush/Cheney took office, no one is talking about the fact that Bush/Cheney ignored the warnings from counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke! Don't hand me your line of s*#t Dick, not after we've endured the worst 8 years of a governmental policy hell that you created! Nothing would or could be better for America than to see you "frog-marched in handcuffs" off to prison for what you've done to America!!!

" 'Sovereignty or secession' movement sweeps Texas capitol" One other alternative that would solve a lot of problems down there in "Lone Star" country -- why not just give Texas back to Mexico? That in effect might be a solution for all those Texans who no longer want to be a part of the United States of America!
