"Fifteen very bad things Republicans would do if they got their selfish way -- Always the political instrument of moneyed elites, and a retrograde societal force, the GOP today is more negatively impactful than ever. Its agenda, if fully implemented, would prove catastrophic." With all due respect, I'd say we're sitting in the middle of catastrophe right now and if left up to the Repuglicans and their radical religious base, we'll all be knocking on the doors of heaven or hell, whichever you prefer! These guys want to see Armageddon, and the sooner the better, because they believe they will be taken up to heaven body and soul! How's that for a hapless bunch of souls with an overinflated ego???

"Kristol Urges No Trial For Hasan: 'They Should Just Go Ahead And Convict Him And Put Him To Death'." Bill Kristol is another opportunistic right-wing radical nut, who obviously believes that justice and the Constitution is exclusive for certain people but not meant for all the people! The Repuglicans are all elitists with their own agenda -- they want power, wealth, and control of the masses! Fortunately for America, the majority of the American people know that in America all men are created equal and all men have a right to trial by a jury of their peers. Tell Bill Kristol, "There's a word for systems of justice that selectively afford due process -- that word is...." dare I say it, that word is fascism, which was debunked and defeated by Americans, for Americans a long time ago!

Just a reminder to let you know what Bush/Cheney and the Repuglicans really did for America. "After the disastrous Bush presidency the GOP had the option to go crazy or rethink. Guess which one they chose... the resultant disaster could hardly have been more comprehensive: a lagging economy (the worst job creation since Hoover), yawning budget deficits (Bush doubled the national debt in eight years); two unfinished wars, costing thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars -- one completely unnecessary, the other so forgetfully prosecuted that Gen. Stanley McChrystal warns the United States and NATO could yet lose it." And it didn't stop there -- "...if Pakistani terrorists had done to New Orleans what Bush's hapless FEMA appointees did after Katrina, he'd have invaded Iran. Staffing regulatory agencies with See-No-Evil disciples of Ayn Rand made them feckless spectators of the banking crisis that damn near destroyed the nation's financial system, dragging the economy into the deepest recession since (again) Herbert Hoover." All this in 8+years, does anyone really want to elect another "regular guy" Repuglican, does anyone really want crazy again, does anyone really want a repeat performance!

The young men and women who entered the military have had to endure the horror and the reality of war many times over and it is overwhelming, anyone would have difficulty coping with a battlefield where human beings, including children and friends as well as enemies are blown to bits, where body parts are scattered to the wind, where man's inhumanity to man is lurking around every corner waiting for its next victim! It is imperative that our soldiers get the benefits they were promised, they must have health care, be it physical or mental! No one, not even Senator Medical Doctor Tom Coburn (R-OK) should be allowed to put veterans care on hold! And a psychiatrist should never be fired for attempting to get these soldiers the psychiatric care they need, what is happening at Camp Lejeune is an abomination and unacceptable, it is a prime example of man's inhumanity to man continuing right here at home! "A psychiatrist who tried to prevent Fort Hood-style violence among Marines about to 'lose it' instead loses his job." We the people must insist that the Military provide the necessary treatment for all our service men and women, an injured psyche is just as important as a physical injury -- after all this is not the dark ages, when those with an emotional disturbance were shut away somewhere to be forgotten forever!

The Repuglican leadership has become so addled-brained they can't even count anymore -- "Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Fox News Sunday today that a majority of Americans don't want the Democrats' health care reform plan to pass"? Where in the world did McConnell learn to count, "a majority" my rear end! And if that isn't bad enough, here's the real kicker, the real in your face -- "McConnell said he plans to delay the bill with lots of amendments on the Senate floor." The Party of NO to the American people strikes again! Don't let these laggards get away with it, don't allow them to take away an American's basic right to healthcare, it's time to stop Repuglican stupidity, it's time to end Repuglican partisanship, it's time to get that "change" we voted for, "yes we can"!!!

Now just what would a "Bush era appointed U.S. Attorney" want with information from a left of center Web site??? And just why did all the radical right lunatics try to blame Eric Holder for this unusual if not illegal subpoena??? "A number of rightwing web sites including Fox Nation and the Drudge Report, cited the CBS News piece in support of suggestions that 'Attorney General Holder' and the 'Obama White House' were going after the web site. In fact, all of this transpired before the new administration had taken the reins at the Justice Department. But the question remains: on whose authority was the subpoena issued? The Justice Department has declined to comment." Sounds like more right-wing lunatic infiltrators trolling for whatever they can find to be used against liberals! Karl Rove's methods are now part and parcel of the political landscape as long as America will continue to put up with the contemptible, unethical Repuglican approach to politicking!

Having worked at a VA hospital, I can honestly say not all veterans receive the full benefit healthcare that most of the American people think is provided! Many vets are left to provide for themselves -- veterans with a service-related injury, a purple card, are the only vets who receive full benefits! These men and women give up a lot for their country, they are ready to risk their lives to keep us safe, the least we can do is to provide care for them when care is needed! Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) is denying his HYPOCRATIC OATH of doing "no harm" by holding up a bill and denying our veterans! Tom Coburn MD is a HYPOCRITE!

If you're really interested in why the Repuglican Party is imploding -- when Rep. Cao (R-LA) broke with the Party and voted for Healthcare Reform because, "...the needs of his constituents trumped partisan politicking", in retaliation, "The reaction to Cao from the right wing has been swift and fierce, with some comparing the only non-Hispanic minority in the GOP caucus to Mao Tse Tung and calling him racial epithets." Now tell me the Repuglicans aren't racists, HA!!! They don't deserve to serve in the Congress, they are not doing anything productive for the American people, they should be fired, they should not be allowed to continue -- they don't deserve a salary, they don't deserve to collect benefits!

This is about as low and as despicable as a group can get -- it is psychological child molestation to target a man's children and their school! For God's sake, this cannot be a model for American Christianity! This is a form of domestic terrorism that cannot be considered "free speech"! In fact, this kind of behavior has all the earmarks of a disaster waiting to happen! Frankly, I want my country back, I want to stop this radical religious extremist behavior before it actually becomes a violent terrorist attack! I can't bring myself to give rise to the contemptible blatherings of these people who belong in an institution instead of freely walking the streets of America! You have to wonder, especially with most members being family, if the only reason they call themselves a church is to get a "tax-exemption"??? And where is the Justice Department, where is the separation of church and state?

On this the Anniversary of the End of the Berlin Wall, I continue to say Thank You to President Harry Truman, who realized war did not always mean mass casualties and could be won by means other than bombs and bullets! Though the Repuglicans have tried to revise history by crediting the end of the cold war to Reagan, it was actually "Truman's early contributions it is fair to say he was highly responsible for American victory although he was deceased at the time of its conclusion. Truman's policies lived on way after him and although adapted upon they were still the basis for what led the U.S to victory. Starting with containment, this policy was used by every Cold War president after Truman. The idea of stopping the domino effect was upheld and in the end the U.S did just that and Soviet Russia failed inside and collapsed. This policy can be ruled as the biggest success for Truman and directly includes him in the reasons for U.S victory in the cold war." It can also be said that the BIPARTISAN efforts of President Dwight Eisenhower in continuing President Truman's effort also led to the final conclusion! "...Dwight D. Eisenhower was inaugurated president....the US defense budget had quadrupled, and Eisenhower moved to reduce military spending by a third while continuing to fight the Cold War effectively..." Unlike today, that was an America then, when wiser men concluded Country was more important than Party Partisanship, when Country and the American people were more important than "bringing down a President"!!!
