On AOL this morning. Just in case you all haven't seen this. And, these idiots actually were in government, which the buying and selling of U.S. govt by Bush GOP bozos has to stop. It has always galled me that people stick up their noses at prostitutes and yet, those women wouldn't be doing what they do, if the men didn't go after them and give them the job, sorta speak. What creeps. Larry Flynt was right, you know. Dems, it's all about money and the Bush GOP, it's all about sex. I guess these guys should give out "secret" awards to those businesses they frequent. Of course, I don't know that these clubs actually have ladies of the night.

When Dallas "gentlemen's club" owner Dawn Rizos learned that a group led by Newt Gingrich picked her as a 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year, she was "very honored."

Now, she's very disappointed.

The former House Speaker's American Solutions for Winning the Future told her Tuesday it has rescinded the award, saying it had made a mistake.

"We were very honored to receive this award and it's really kind of rude for them to change their minds at the last minute," said Rizos, owner of The Lodge, which bills itself as "the #1 Gentlemen's Club in America." (snip)

Two weeks ago, American Solutions pulled an award to Allison Vivas, president of Pink Visual, an adult entertainment studio, after Vivas released a statement saying she was both "honored and more than a little surprised" at being selected by Gingrich. A spokesman for American Solutions told Media Matters that the award had been given in error.

In a country such as ours, the Bush GOP money has been able to buy everything, but, most of all, loyalty. However, change may seem slow in coming to many of us, but it will come and it will come in the form of a human tsunami, by the people of this country, for the people of this country, and eventually, the people of this country, when most Americans have finally had enough, and if I speak for myself, I passed that point years ago when the Supreme Court broke U.S. law and put Bush into the White House and led this country into financial and moral ruin of debt, death, and destruction . . . but, I digress . . . change is coming, because most of the people in the U.S. are law abiding, good people who work hard, raise a family, and know what it is to try and grasp that American dream and most of us Americans expect those elected to government, to take care of government, so we don't have to . . . but, it's not happening.
When things go wrong, terribly wrong, everybody suffers, except those who are causing the problems. That's what they are getting paid for, how they make their money, using U.S. government, and abusing U.S. citizens. But, whether it's war on defenseless countries or legislative war on Americans, there will come a time when people are sick, without jobs, healthcare, food, homes . . . the driving force that will finally take over and change U.S. government that is causing all of these problems. The hard part is convincing all three branches of U.S. government that they do work for the people of this nation, and not themselves.
 
Violence begets violence and when people make money, have careers that consist of spewing hate and violence . . . most of us Americans don't want to be compared to such people. The majority of Americans have more pride in this country, even if we have a government that has stripped most of that pride from this country from around the world in just eight years.
 
Glenn Beck is one of those talkers, who makes his living spewing hate on U.S. radio . . . a shock jock. How this became such a big thing in this country, hate radio, I don't understand, but, it does go along with everything else that was done during the Bush GOP regime, when our government was operated like one huge thuggish, crime family, and to this day, no accountability, and very few investigations.
 
Surely, people don't question how such a person as Beck should become honored in his home town of Mount Vernon, Washington, and in a ceremony in which he will be given the key to the city. I feel for the young people in this town, and want them to know that we, the majority of this country, are not stupid, nor are we Bush GOP dumbed up. It's only natural that most people who revere their country, would not want to be seen as a representation or member of some sort of mouthwatering, warring, worshipping imitation of a Glenn Beck, Bush GOP society.

Mount Vernon, Wash.—The Young Democrats of Skagit County calls on the community to demonstrate against Mayor Bud Norris giving Glenn Beck the key to the city. The demonstration will be held outside of McIntyre Hall 2501 East College Way at Skagit Valley College on Saturday, September 26 at 5:30 p.m. PDT.

The message of the protests is, "Hate isn't a Skagit Valley value."

"This will be a peaceful demonstration expressing our disappointment with the mayor in attempting to align Mount Vernon with hate speech. We will not meet hate with hate," Young Democrats of Skagit County President Marc Oommen says.

This is where it gets good . . . again, Beck is buying his own key to that city. What's new about the Bush GOP members buying loyalty or goodness? It might be funny, if it weren't so sad, that Beck spews hate and violence on his show, but wants to buy good press and recognition for what he does, so he buys the key to his hometown. Those Republican think tanks have really been busy.

Lincoln Theatre's new Executive Director Thomas Mayes is three weeks into the job and has already secured a one-time roughly $8,000 to $10,000 donation.

It's coming from the mayor's Glenn Beck event.

That's a big payday for the Lincoln, which raises about $30,000 at its annual spring auction, its largest fundraiser, Mayes said. But some are criticizing the Lincoln for taking the Beck proceeds.

"We have heard from members that are planning on boycotting our organization," Mayes said.

He is telling them the Lincoln does not judge its donors.

"As a nonprofit if we were to make those decisions based on somewhat objective qualifications, like political party or (if it comes from a) controversial figure, that is really a slippery slope for us," Mayes said.

The Lincoln put out a press release.

Congrats should go to the young Democrats in that town for standing up to this hate monger who makes millions, and still expects Americans to "praise him?"
 
Why stop at honoring Beck? There could be a sale on keys. Why don't these same Bush GOP people honor Bush, Cheney, Rove, and Rummy just for starters. Why don't they talk about their crimes and laugh about them and snub their noses at U.S. law in U S government? Why don't they talk about how hate is so good, and invasions and occupations and the killing of over a million innocent people who were no threat to the U.S., was just a wonderful money making deal for them? Eh? Why don't we ever get the truth in this nation? Why aren't our big guy media papers filled with the death and destruction caused by hate and violence that was driven by the greed of the Bush GOP in U.S. government? Why don't we get to see justice when the big boys serving the people of this nation, break the law?
 
Beck serves those same people. DC is still serving those same people. My condolences to all of you fellow Americans in Mount Vernon, Washington. But, just think, until the people speak, there are many towns and states who should share the same shame that Beck brings to this country. We all share the shame until we change our government inside out. The last eight years of violence and betrayal to the people of this nation by the Bush GOP . . . until we Americans stand up and say enough is enough, get the hell out of this government . . . we want change, we want justice . . . and we want it NOW!
 
Evidently, we Americans didn't speak loud enough at the last election. They speak a different language behind the beltway in DC. We have heard of Pidgin English, well in DC, it's Lobby English . . . which is the reason most of those serving the people are millionaires. The seeds planted in DC bloom heavily with green blossoms of GREED. The same greed that we have seen in regard to getting decent and moral healthcare, single payer healthcare, for we, the people, of this nation.
 
There will be no change in this country until we Americans take back our political parties . . . fool us once Democrats, shame on you . . . fool us twice, Democrats, shame on us Americans. We've had weak Democratic leadership for as long as the Bush GOP were able to rule without fear for eight long years, and the eight years before that . . . and, what do they fear today after their policies brought this country and us Americans to our knees . . . not a damn thing, least of all, accountability.
 
We don't need to be making deals with supporters of hate and violence, and that means, we don't make deals with any member of the Bush GOP cult in Congress today, or any of their Democratic supporters. No change can be as painful as what has been done in our name, under the leadership of the Bush GOP, in the name of U.S. government in Iraq, Afghanistan, and New Orleans. The only way these Bush GOP hate mongers will even think about changing is when we Americans see accountability and justice in U.S. government. We are still waiting. I have asked this question before . . . how can we expect millionaires to represent mainstream America and understand what this country needs, and put those needs before their own needs . . . evidently, just viewing the shape this country is in today, the answer is simply that . . . we can't. There's something about those who allow their money to become so important that it actually becomes their identity. Their only identity.
 
Glenn Beck can buy all of the keys and doormats to the cities he wants . . . it won't change what has been done to this country under the name of the Republican Party. It will not change him or his reputation. I'm surprised that so many Americans don't have any more pride in themselves than to be represented by this criminal group . . . but, in America, crime pays . . . that is, until, we the people change this government back to a working democracy again, once and for all.
 
If this country can do what the Bush GOP cult did during the last eight years, which I never thought would ever happen without consequences . . . anything is possible, and change by the people can happen, and that is what really scares the Bush GOP and those Democrats who support them, as well as those Democrats who just want to get along.
 
Again, let these propaganda-mongers hate, but make sure that they also fear the American people, U.S. law, and the consequences for their actions. That's been missing in U.S. government and in this society since Nixon. If we Americans want change, we are going to have to do it ourselves.
