Real Change vs Cheap Change -- GOP Political Pocket Change

BuzzFlash,

Change: "You can't step into the same river twice." -- Heraclitus Cratylus, Plato.

We Americans voted for real "Change." Not a face lift, but a complete change of faces in government. Yes, this will be feared by anyone who has participated in the criminal activity of the Bush GOP regime. We Americans only know what has been done and thrown into our lives, boldly, arrogantly, and defiantly by this Bush GOP treasonous regime. We still don't know what horrors have been committed behind closed doors.

Now, it's time for "justice." It always amazes me to hear about the prosecutions of so many American citizens for little of nothing. A petty thief will go to jail for stealing a pack of cigarettes or a loaf of bread, or for smoking a marijuana cigarette, a person could go to jail for years due to a bogus political drug war; a person could get arrested for wearing a tee shirt with the word "Peace." . . . but a political thief, that kills, lies, thieves, and starts illegal invasions/occupations, and jails people for nothing more than their names, taking away their rights . . . those thieves take vacations, get bailed out of their fraud and incompetence, and get millions of bucks in bonuses. This is so Bush GOP. Hiring and rewarding the greedy incompetent.

This is not what change is all about. US government and those in government should be examples for all of us Americans (they work for us), not the exceptions when it comes to US law and US democracy.

I could be wrong, and I hope I am, but, maybe the easy part of this "change for America" was the election, and the hard part is to keep those same influences away from Obama in DC. The only time we Democrats hear about bipartisan politics is when the Bush GOP is out of power, like today, or when we would hear of some Democrats, during these last eight years, support this criminal and treasonous regime. There has been no bipartisan politics coming out of this Bush GOP administration for eight criminally long years. They didn't even count the bodies. That is when both parties care about democracy and want it to thrive. This has not happened in thirty years, and especially during the last eight years of Bush Republican rule.

We Americans, and when I speak of Republican Americans who voted for Obama, I speak of them as the real Republican Party wanting to be raised from the dead, not the zombie that looks like the Republican Party we have seen these last thirty years, but is in fact the Bush crime family and their supporters using the Republican Party for their own personal gains, regardless of the debt, death, and destruction they have committed, without any attempt to stop . . . and, with the support of some Democrats, who enjoy being bipartisan regardless of how the base of the Democratic Party feels . . . it's past time for the base to become the leaders of this Party.

That may not be a popular statement, however, true. We Americans did not vote for "change on the cheap," which means a bipartisan administration of the same people who supported Bush during these last eight years. Change comes with new faces in the administration, and without any Bush GOP supporters. Period.

The infusion of politics into the Justice Department and an abdication of responsibility by its leaders have dealt a severe blow," Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) and Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.), the panel's ranking Republican, wrote in an opinion piece last month. "Great damage has been done to the credibility and effectiveness of the Justice Department." (snip)

"It would not be beneficial to spend a lot of time calling people up to Congress or in front of grand juries," Litt said. "It would really spend a lot of the bipartisan capital Obama managed to build up."

Obama Team Faces Major Task in Justice Dept. Overhaul - washingtonpost.com

This election was a rebuke of all Bush GOP politics. It was a bipartisan vote for sure. The time for bipartisan politics in DC will be when Americans out in the mother land take back their Republican Party years from now. That will take more elections and more time.

That is not the case today. Today we need change, real change. The world knows we need it, they've seen the blood flow, and it is still flowing. American families know we need it, they, too, have suffered great loss of life during these past eight years. I only wish we could have made these changes eight years earlier, when millions of lives would have been saved. How can any American with a conscience ignore the crimes committed by this imperialistic Bush GOP regime, using fear and changes to our Constitution and Bill of Rights to bind, gag, and kidnap democracy, then hold hostage the American people . . . and sentencing future generations to pay for their crimes of debt, death, and destruction?

Fascism: An authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization. (In general use) extreme right-wing authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice. -- The New Oxford American Dictionary.

The term Fascism was first used of the totalitarian right-wing nationalist regime of Mussolini in Italy (1922-43) and the regimes of the Nazis in Germany and Franco in Spain were also fascist. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethnic group, a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach." -- The New Oxford American Dictionary.

The above statements should sound familiar to every American citizen who finally came to recognize that something had gone terribly wrong with US democracy in US government. That Fascism by the Bush GOP was beginning to become the new Fashion. The Bush GOP love to spread the myth that the Democrats have been in charge, and because they (Bush GOP) are so sure of themselves . . . confident that they can lie outwardly without worrying about accountability, they have even tried to blame Democrats for every criminal action committed during the Bush GOP's last eight years.

The main reason we do not need to see familiar Bush GOP people, Democrats or Republicans, who have supported this criminal regime or just failed to do their jobs, in the new Obama administration that advocates real change, is because people, such as those who served Bush loyally, don't change. They will just muck everything up again. And, as for those Democrats who supported this criminal regime . . . their loyalties were probably, (cough, just guessing) lobbied by some corporation. Do their reasons for not doing the right thing really count? NO.

These are difficult times, deadly times, but we Americans want the fascist fog lifted in DC. We don't want bipartisanship from supporters of a treasonous regime. That will only bring about . . . change on the cheap . . . in name only. We, who voted for change, are grownups, and have stood by and watched while two elections were stolen, while democracy's head was held under a guillotine, and these Bush GOP loyalists thought they had taken over this government forever.

Now, we need justice for those who have died for this criminal regime, and justice for those who have suffered due to the legislative war against the American people that has been going on for eight years, trying to destroy our Constitution and Bill of Rights. These are serious, out in the open, charges, not to be debated.

Rational people who believe in democracy, understand the difference between ruling a people and leading a people. There should be no problem when it comes to choosing those "new" faces who are to tell us Americans and the world that we can believe "Change is Coming." Mother Nature is not the only one who can't be fooled or fooled with.

CHANGE

Obama needs to read this and understand its implications. It's time for him to demonstrate a boldness and develop a whole new paradigm regarding 'politicians in Washington-both democrats and republicans'. We've tried the other way for too many years(and look where we are). PLEASE CHANGE!!!
