Wall Street White Elephant Bailout: Bush GOP Bootstraps or US Citizen Bondage

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON

BuzzFlash,

Bailout the GOP wealthy again and again? Remember the Savings and Loans? The Banks? The Republicans will bail out or pardon, and then give out rewards of high paying government jobs. How many Americans remember being sermonized constantly about those infamous bootstraps from these Bush GOP ne'er-do-wells, who are always found sucking away on some government teat?

We Americans have to face the fact that deregulation is just another form of privatization and has never been done with the American people in mind, so why should we Americans be left with picking up the tab? After another giant tab that has already been dropped into our laps because of a treasonous, invasion/occupation of Iraq, and a war in Afghanistan, supposedly due to 911, while the real criminals, the bin Laden cave dwellers, were allowed to go free? The US, under the criminal leadership of the Bush GOP, has the largest debt ever in our history and it just keeps escalating. Why should we have to keep paying for their (Bush GOP) mountain range of ravenous mistakes?

The Bush GOP always threaten the American people about Democrats having to raise taxes. Who has to pay for high gas prices, high food costs? Prices on everything a consumer buys today, bulge with the added costs caused by the Bush GOP, and also causing many businesses across this nation to fold ... who in the hell is going to always be left to pay for their mistakes and clean up their unsightly rats' nest mess? Who left this country in dire debt before Clinton was elected? Bush number one. And, what majority in Congress ran the government for most of those years and brought us NAFTA, deregulation, and privatization, and cut government programs for the poor? The Bush Republican Party.

Who put Bush number two into the White House? A criminal Supreme Court who wanted their own Republican bush-league in the White House. Who has stopped all progressive legislation by the Democrats in Congress these past eight years? The Bush Republicans in Congress. Who doesn't give a damn about those American citizens who have lost their homes, their jobs, their savings, their lives, their health, their retirement, and the destruction of global environment?

The Bush GOP. It's thirty years past the time to take these Bush Republicans off government welfare and start demanding accountability, justice, and a US government that is for the American people ... as it should be. As it was meant to be. We Americans shouldn't have to wait for elections to give somebody the boot when they can't or won't do their job in US government.

At this rate, the wealthy Bush Republicans will have Americans living again in sod houses, driving horses and buggies, growing our own food, sending mail by Pony Express, and then blaming us Americans and telling us that it's our own fault for not pulling ourselves up with our own bootstraps. Sound familiar? They are right in one respect ... anyone who keeps voting these Bush Republicans back into office ... is a vote against themselves, and a vote against this country.

"It isn't evil that is ruining the earth, but mediocrity. The crime is not that Nero played while Rome burned, but that he played badly." -- Ned Rorem, US composer and writer. The Final Diary.

Yes, Bush and his administration have been chosen and managed as the mediocre medley of Republican loyalists that they are, except for the fact that the Bush GOP never did plan to lead this country, only use it for as long as they could get away with their war against the world and the American people. This leadership is worse than any other Republican mediocre leadership in the past, it's completely missing. Gone! Start looking for your bootstraps, Wall Street! You supported this bust of a Bush GOP government.

We Americans could say, democracy on the cheap for those who support this criminal Bush administration, at least it's been a cheap ride for them. Deregulation. The word, itself, explains what would happen. Take the rules, the laws away from all of society and watch it stumble and crumble. Human beings aren't that different from one another. Without laws, without rules, some will take advantage and people will get used and abused. We Americans have had over 30 years of government malfeasance led by a Bush GOP US government, that hasn't been stopped, and because they were not made accountable in the past, these past eight years have been the worse government lacking in responsibility by far in US history because the same criminals are still running this government.

Who pays? Generations of American citizens. Whether it be with their life or with their life savings ... and yet, to this day, there has been no accountability, no justice. The unlawful abuse in government is ongoing and constantly destroying more of what used to be known as the good life for many citizens in this country, and around the world.

Financial markets that were deregulated by the Republicans, should be made to pick themselves up by their own bootstraps, any which way they can. Republicans in government, who have made their fortunes off other people's misfortunes. Again, those government run-of-the-mill, mediocre somebodies, who anyone can sit down and have a beer with, never listen, do they?

"If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich."  -- President Kennedy Speech 1961.

Why should we Americans bail any of these people out, when they have failed the American people so badly? Greed, the greedy-eyed monster that lives within US government and is eating it alive, is killing this country and US democracy until none of us Americans will be able to survive. Like any rabid, and dangerous monster, It has to be put to death. Many of us didn't have to be told that deregulation and privatization is a government without management, without law and order. A free society can't exist without rules, or law and order and neither can a democratic government.

"We have another proverb in Russia: "Catch on you will when you're tumbling downhill." I understand that you love freedom, but in our crowded world you have to pay a tax for freedom. You cannot love freedom for yourselves alone and quietly agree to a situation where the majority of humanity, spread over the greater part of the globe, is subjected to violence and oppression." -- Alexander Solzhenitsyn, 1975.

No, Mr. Solzhenitsyn was not talking about US government today, a government that invaded a country that was of no threat, but we are tumbling downhill and yet, we still have Americans who do not want to blame those who are responsible for our "free fall."  Free fall as in free for the Bush GOP and their supporters.

We have those today who ponder, mind you, whether or not to vote for a Bush-Republican McCain who has followed and voted in the Bush footsteps, it's been reported, for 90 percent of the time. He thinks the majority of American voters are too stupid, or too ill informed due to a big guy media that is no where near being liberal, but has constantly supported this criminal Bush GOP regime. Ill informed American citizens who will keep voting Republican, even though it's not their Party any more.

What is there to ponder about? Must we follow the Romans? Russia?  Do we Americans have to crash and burn before people pay attention?

McCain and his people are the same Republican government that has tried to ruin this country through the misuse and abuse of power and has caused nothing but debt, death, and destruction, and then they pardon those who could testify against them. This kind of government sounds insane. The criminals pardoning their cohorts in crime.  Uncontrollable GOP power, while a weak Democratic leadership just smiles and cleans off tables. A leadership that does not represent the Democratic Party in US government or those who are Democratic candidates for US government.

Power should not come to anyone just because of time served in government, any more than power coming to the White House through a Supreme Court that decided to break US law. We can't expect to have a functioning government from unlawful acts brought about by the dysfunction of US branches of government or by the usual fraud that has been found during the last eight years of elections, and without accountability or much change. Many American citizens feel that their vote doesn't count and we can't change this government without citizen action and participation.

"Freedom: The right to be wrong, not the right to do wrong." -- John Diefenbaker

Why should we Americans become enslaved, chained, and restrained because of the fallout due to the unbridled greed and violence of the Bush Republican Party, and those who keep supporting them? And, what about those of us who stand still instead of speaking out, using our vote, and doing our job to protect this country?

We Americans have something worth more than the GOP bootstraps to clean up this government, bring back the good life for all ... we have ourselves ... the power of millions. We just have to use it.
