Americans Putting America First -- And, Size Does Matter

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON

BuzzFlash,

America and we Americans matter. Size matters, the US has one of the largest economies in the world (well, these figures come from 2000, before the Bush GOP had a run with this government), and as we all know today, we now have the "largest debt" ever in US history, and Bush and his minions sold us to China. Yes, the size of US debt matters.

We are living on borrowed money, and maybe borrowed time. Ask Americans how that feels. Due to loss of jobs, and salary cuts, many Americans are having to supplement their incomes with borrowed money. Many have lost their homes. Still, more have lost their lives, and all they wanted was a good education. A good education today can cost as much as $50,000 a year. Who will get the good education at those prices? Not the majority of Americans.

Why should any young person in this country have to join the military and risk their life in a treasonous invasion by a criminal authority in order to get educated? Why should any young American have to be on food stamps while trying to get an education? Why should any American in the US have to work two to three jobs to support a family and still live in cheap homes and have to eat cheap food, and pray they don't get sick, as they probably don't have sufficient health care? What advantage do the majority of Americans have by living in one of the richest countries in the world? Under the Bush GOP, a small sized advantage.

There are many more questions we could ask ourselves, before we put people in office. And remember -- Bush was put into office by a Supreme Court that, for their own personal purposes, took the law into their own hands and gave Bush the White House. Bush was not elected in 2000, and there was so much election fraud in 2004, we can't say he was elected then either. And Bush was in charge of Texas with a population of over 20 million and then over the US with a population of 266,096,000 million people, and what is the Bush GOP legacy? Bush was never qualified to be placed into the White House, and those who did so, knew so.

People may be tired of hearing this, but it can't be said enough ... Bush had warnings for three months about 911 and told only a few friends not to fly, he was on vacation. Bush then attacked Afghanistan and killed up to 5,000 innocent people acting in arrogant vengeance, while he allowed bin Laden, who was living in the caves in the mountains, to escape into Pakistan. Bush allowed the bin Laden family, a reported 100 in number, to leave the US without being questioned by the FBI. Bush still remains friends with the Saudis, a country with one of the worst records for human rights.

Bush then lied this country into invading Iraq. An illegal invasion that has cost over a million lives, including the lives of American military and National Guard, and displaced three to four million more Iraqi people. Yes, size does matter!

So far, no accountability for these crimes and this is the same government that naturally wants their war against the world and their violence against the American people to continue.

We Americans have to become protectors of our own Constitution, our own Bill of Rights, our own government, our own relationships around the world. We have to be loyal to America first. Americans have to come first, and we cannot allow this criminal faction of the Republican Party to steal another election, and put more of their weak, greedy, "yes people" in charge. There's only so low this country can go.

Alaska, largest state in the US -- Population-2000 census - 626,932;

Rhode Island, the smallest state in the US -- Population-2000 census - 1,048,319;

Texas, a state with a population of over 20 million.

This fragment of the Republican Party that was taken over by the Bush GOP and their loyal supporters has had their chance to show what they could do for the people of this country. Starting with Nixon, we have had constant corruption from the top down, with members of this same Bush GOP.

When we Americans say we want change, does that mean the same, debt, death (as in Iran which they are doing as we speak, according to Scott Ritter on Democracy Now! this week) and the destruction of other countries, which will bring down the destruction of our own country? No. Those who talk tough have never had to obey their own rules or to spill blood by their own hands, they always use the hands of the innocent. Yes, our military and our National Guard are also victims of the criminal acts of violence by the Bush regime. The poor and middle classes are additional victims of this Bush GOP regime, along with anyone who can't say that they respect the sanctity of life and vote for war, whether it be military or legislative. And these same people want to carry on for that same political party. How can they, too, be trusted to uphold our Constitution and Bill of Rights? They can't. Take them for their own words ... they support this criminal and treasonous Bush administration, and are proud to say so.

What should this news item tell Americans about the Bush GOP and responsibility?

They played a taped phone conversation in which Nazario appeared to admit having ordered the killings and urged jurors to convict him, warning an acquittal could send a message that the US condoned the killing of unarmed, non-resisting prisoners.

We know already, we invaded an independent country that had not attacked us. Oil was $20 a barrel at that time, and went over $100. Under the Bush GOP, only those loyalists make money. Today, our economy is in the GOP political sewer. Irresponsible? Shock and Awe, arrogant and irresponsible? How can they put the military in jail when the Commander in Chief walks free? From the Bush GOP, what kind of message would that send? Yes, these people, under Bush, are probably told to kill all, it makes invasions much easier, and no witnesses. Torture? Prisons? The violence comes from the top down. Bush laughed about not finding WMD, and how many years ago was that? Who do you think told Nazario to ask to be convicted?

This is just as traumatizing as any criminal act by any gunman. With what governments in what countries involving past news items could this have also happened? If you said Germany, Russia, or China ... or any other dictatorial government, you win.

Protest arrests: Security or repression?

McCain wants to reform whom? Reform just happens to be an anagram for "former" -- The Wordsworth Dictionary of Anagrams, Michael Curl.1982.

How many Americans get the idea that these Bush GOP jesters think the jokes are on us? How many Americans get the idea that the Bush GOP and their loyalists think we Americans are all stupid? After all, they have done much to try and ruin our educational system. If you answer yes, that is correct.

It's past the time that we Americans stand up for change and that doesn't mean more of the same. It means, we need people who will protect America, and that means the respect and total adherence to our Constitution and our Bill of Rights ... their oaths of office to be taken seriously. Bring back the balance of power into all three branches of US government. And, bring back US law with accountability and justice because we Americans all have to obey the same laws. Our own government should be seen as examples, instead of using their power to escape US law. And eventually, it all filters down.

ST. PAUL, MINN. -- With his selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, John McCain is giving his campaign a political makeover: Rather than selling himself as a war hero with national security credentials, he is donning the mantle of the reformer.

Violence is what the Bush GOP has brought to this country. Violence, greed, fraud can be seen in the news on a daily basis. For those very young Americans, this hasn't always been the case. Many of us grew up without violence on our streets ... and, for those who love to kill animals or hunt, no one is trying to take those guns away. But make no mistake, if the Bush GOP wanted to, they would, and they would use our own military and their privatized military to do so.

What the majority of us Americans want is respect in our government by government officials for US law, the sanctity of all life on this planet, and that goes for keeping guns out of the hands of those who are too irresponsible to have them. Do we need guns in the hands of just anyone, or should it be a privilege like driving a car? Do we need guns and fancy military weapons to attack countries that are defenseless? The US has the largest stash of WMD around the world ... does that mean that we should be invaded? And, how many Americans would not fight back? But, today, that enemy is much closer, the Bush GOP. It's time we Americans fight back.

We Americans live in a country with the third largest population in the world, and ninth place as one of the richest countries, however, that was before the Bush GOP, 2000. (Oxford World Encyclopedia 2001)

US military standards have hit new lows, where hate group members are allowed to enlist and will be trained in more violence, which one day, will be another blow-back that Americans will suffer from. No-bid contracts full of fraud and rapes of the employees. A military full of rapes, hate, and low standards. Over three thousand appointments in US government by Bush and his administration made due to loyalty. Deregulation and privatization are also killers of democracies because they are the trademarks of inefficiency and greed.

Size matters. We have a large government with gigantic responsibility around the world and it has been put aside for these past eight years, due to the greed of a few. Do we Americans want the violence and irresponsibility that we've had from this treasonous, criminal Bush GOP for the last eight years to continue by those who outwardly talk of supporting this criminal regime on the Bush GOP ticket? Reform or former?

Are we Americans going to stand by and watch while this criminal and still unaccountable Bush GOP regime kills US democracy as their final blow? If we do, then we are all complicit with such a murder, or should we call it mass suicide? It's over thirty years, and now is the time for change, real change. America and Americans must come first. The government of, by, and for the people.

There's millions more of us than them ... yes, size matters.

Thanks BuzzFlash,

Shirley Smith

Size Matters!!!

BE NOT DECEIVED!! Dick Cheney is in Asia, today, Georgia and other oil rich or pipeline countries. Picking a fight with the Russians over not-so-innocent Georgia, who fired the first shots and were invaders of South Ossetia before Russia stepped in as protector of the Ossetians. American military personnel training the Georgians (why)? Bush/Cheney/McCain lying to the Americans about the circumstances and the causes of the conflict. People in US looking at Republican convention and listening to partisan lies and deceit, not realizing the damage and danger being fostered in our name. The Russians are only doing what we would do, and did, if close regions appear imperiled. Do American sons and daughters forever spill their blood and lose their lives for the idiotic behavior and greed of the controlling few? Stop this madness!! There is a better way!! Lets' use our "heads" because our "guts" are bringing nothing but grief on a monumental scale.
