Shirley Smith: Debating the Debates ... No Respect for the American People ... Status Quo
MS SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
BuzzFlash,
We had intelligent debates at one time and they were conducted by the nonpartisan League of Women Voters. The MSM, big guy media, chose these candidates years ago because they thought Clinton, who would be bent or biasED towards them, would win, or another scenario would be that this is the only way the Bush GOP thought they could win by splitting up the Democratic Party, knowing that the Clintons, in the end, will always try to please the Bushes.
Our government has been used for their own greedy purposes, and today, we Americans are to inherit the debt, death, and destruction of the Bush administration who are "still" residing in the White House, who should, by all accounts, be worried more about accountability for their crimes against humanity.
But, the Bush GOP and the big-guy media were wrong. Clinton has shown that she doesn't have what it takes to be a great leader among nations, but what she does have is the ability to lead a women's Coffee Klatch where gossip and innuendos are on the menu. I'm ashamed that women think this woman represents all working American women.
The Coffee Klatch group never appealed to most working women because it is usually made up of women who never have had to work, just as pettiness, gossip, and cheap lies do not appeal to many of us American women ... Clinton gives credence to the fact that a woman can't get anywhere on her own without using female connivance, much the same as what some say happens in many offices around the world, and women who deserve the credit for their positions have it taken away because of the notoriety of what some famous women do to get what they want.
Senator Clinton does not represent someone with the leadership qualities needed in today's world, these debates are examples of how she plans to conduct business in the White House.
We've had enough of the go-along to get-along Clinton government, which is another reason why this nation has been stuck with Bush number two for eight long warring years.
No wonder we are where we are in this country today when a percentage of women still think Hillary Clinton represents who they are. Maybe she does if they are all wealthy, and think that the rest of the working class and their lives are just hunky-dory. Again, Clinton and her pettiness regarding patriotism ... she voted for the war, even after knowing the Bush criminal clan, when hundreds of thousands of American citizens knew we had no business invading and occupying another country that had not attacked the US. Why do we need that kind of leadership when it does not represent change?
When they talk about flag lapel pins as being patriotic, that reminded me of all of those flag-waving American citizens who gathered around the US in mall parking lots, waving their little flags and yelling for Bush to invade Iraq with no thought as to the lives that would be lost. That's not patriotism, that's going along with the status quo without thinking, which governments like the Bush GOP regime, just love that type of patriotism (the good Germans or the Vichy Dems are examples) ... and, again, Senator Clinton supported Bush's invasion/occupation.
She voted to imprison people for protesting and burning the flag, which is a symbol, not a person. (People not flags died in Iraq, Afghanistan, and New Orleans). Some protector of the Constitution and Bill of Rights ... and, what about the off-handed remark calling Senator Obama an elitist, when Hillary and hubby have become multimillionaires because of their working for US government ... actually this should not be allowed in the people's government, when we have poor people, jobless people, homeless people, people losing their homes ... these are signs of "no government," signs that our employees are not doing their jobs.
Do these people who work for the American people even think of the American people when they vote for things such as war or NAFTA?
Along the line of elitist ... what does it mean when Senator Clinton wants to send hubby and Bush number one around the world as ambassadors? Bush number one has never had to pay his debt to this society for what he did while in government, because President Clinton stopped all investigations. And, Poppy Bush pardoned those who could testify against him. Great leadership when a person can pardon partners in crime.
Bush number two has never represented democracy. The worst government in all of US history! People who represent American citizens and become multimillionaires in the process ... well, it can't be done on a salary made working in US government. This puts money and the power as the two main reasons that people want to get into US government, and this is why we are where we are today. Greed ... people are dying due to US elitists and their greed.
Obama did not vote to go to war and he is no multimillionaire. We Americans need change and we can't get it unless we change our government. That will not happen under a Clinton or McCain presidency today, tomorrow or whenever Hillary wants the enjoyment of running for the presidency again.
We have serious problems today ... war, economy, climate control, lack of decent health care, and yet we have to listen to such diatribe coming from MSM, McCain, and Senator Clinton. Shame on them all. Being multimillionaires, what do they have to worry about? We Americans deserve more respect than that, and so do those who have been stuck in Iraq over and over again, and so do those who have lost their lives in Iraq or lost lives due to no healthcare, or lost their lives and quality of life in New Orleans due to a poorly run Republican government ... as well as the millions of Iraqi lives ruined due to the Bush GOP's lies, along with support from some Democrats.
No, change will not come from the status quo, which is what we hear from McCain and the Clintons. Let them celebrate together, invite their friend Lieberman, celebrate their fortunes, their fame ... but, let them stay out of US government. Hillary's banter does nothing for the Democratic Party, just as the Clintons' bipartisanship never did anything for the American people. Never forget NAFTA, WTO, deregulation, the bombing of Iraq for ten long years, the sanctions of food and medicine ... all done under the Clintons' leadership to please the Bushes.
No thought to the people in Iraq or why we were punishing them, mostly children at that time. Not a great sample of leadership, and on top of all of that, the Clintons constantly bent over trying to please the Republican Party, while we Americans kept supporting them.
Change comes only with change in US government and we need change in these debates. They are insulting to all Americans who are sick and tired of US government without US law. We have to change big-guy media.
We've had treason committed by US government and media has supported that government for eight long years, while the same media trashed the Clintons for eight long years ... and, we Americans have been stuck with both. Change comes from a total disconnection, or do we have to crash like 1929 as being predicted ... because these wealthy big-guy media bumkins and US government political millionaires will never feel the American people's pain. With the shape this county is in and those politicians who constantly deny the trouble the American people are in ... who needs them? That same type of leadership is why we Americans are where we are today.
With Bush, we Americans did not get what or who we voted for, but we will not allow that to happen again. Election fraud, including a fraudulent decision by the Supreme Court. That's not over. But, we can't afford another Republican or another supporter to another ruthless Republican regime. Let old habits go, when they become unhealthy, for the sake of all America.
Just a thought,
Thanks BuzzFlash,
Shirley Smith
