The smaller than feared Gustav
For most people means missing big grief
But Bush and Cheney's no-show
Now appears to be missing its fig leaf.

Sarah Palin Is Pretty & Slim But Her Credentials Are Pretty Slim

At the end of the day, I don't really believe
This choice is one that inspires
And it seems as dumb as the Supreme Court
Nomination of Harriet Miers.

But now that I've mentioned Harriet and done
A little bit of introspection
She most certainly would have been a far wiser
Vice Presidential selection.

Because Of Gustav, RNC Scales Back Convention

They hope that this "caring" response
Will make voters nationwide forget
Rebuilding New Orleans is something
They haven't gotten around to yet.
