"I insist on NO  line-in-the-sand, EXCEPT that reform HOLD DOWN COSTS."

 THIS IS DELUSIONAL!!   The FOR PROFIT  health system is NOT a "health CARE" system... it is a  "Medical DENIAL system,"    you take money ONLY  from people who DON'T NEED health care, and you INSTANTLY DENY COVERAGE to anyone who WILL need it!

  WE NEED A HUE AND A CRY and a DEMAND FOR  LEADERSHIP from the White House,  NOT MORE SILENCE as the RETHUGLICAN BULLIES  and HATE-RADIO and  GUNMEN-INCITERS  and CHUCK GRASSLEY and MICHELLE BACHMAN   DOMINATE the health-care debate, because Obama co. IS SILENT  (and trying to PROTECT the profits &  "business model" of the  for-profit health-care EXTORTION companies) !!!

  (not to mention, there have been FOUR separate RIGHT-WING GUNMEN POLICAL MURDERS since last spring: Arkansas Dem. Party Chairman BILL GWATNEY SHOT and killed by a righty gunman in his Little Rock party offices;  another murderous gunman went to a Tenneessee CHURCH with the intent TO MURDER EVERYONE there (fortunately, the well-armed gunman killed just two brave Churchgoers, who of whom took a full blast PROTECTING others), then this year there was the HOLOCAUST shooting,  adn THEN the ASSSASSINATION of Dr. Tiller in his Kansas Church!

  THE RIGHT-WING IS CALLING ON its MURDEROUS DOGS to TERRORIZE "liberals" and Democrats,   and the "Democrat" leaders and "Democrat" White House PRETENDS NOT TO NOTICE ?!!!!!

That's right-- blogging for hours is a useless substitute for actually doing something.  Picking up the telephone is a big improvement.  HR Bill 676 is a single-payer option and deserves some calls.  It's also something Ted Kennedy would have wanted. The bill would have a lot of power added to it if his name were attached --those who vote against a bill with such a venerated and legendary name on it would then have even more accountability for rejecting single-payer.  So calls for HR 676 with a request that it be honored with his name might be a game changer. Who knows?
