FOX Won't Fire Glenn Beck: Here's Why.

More people are watching Beck for the same reason they slow down for a good look at a highway car wreck.

Simple as that.

Oldwoman has a good idea. Boycott all the medical establishments, the stores, the businesses that run Fox TV. Maybe the decrease in customers would help to rid ourselves of this public nuisance of being intruded upon when we venture out to take care of our personal affairs.

So Fox News Channel won't fire Glenn Beck -- no matter how much advertiser money continues to hemmorage from his show. 

The perhaps it's time to expand the ad boycott to the ENTIRE FOX NETWORK -- Especially since Fox is now parent News Corp.'s ONLY moneymaker. The rest of the Murdoch media empire, particularly its newspapers, is drowning in an ocean of red ink, dragging News Corp.'s overall profits and stock price down, down, down.

Money talks and B.S. walks. Starve News Corp. of advertiser money!

It IS hate speech and it IS anti-semitic.

You can couch it in whatever euphamisms you want, but your bigotry, your racism, and the hatred in your small dark heart is showing, clear as mud.

So it's all the fault of the Jooos!  And I can only assume that you know that 4000 Israeli workers stayed away from the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001.  It was all just a Zionist Plot (by those crypto-Likudnik "Elders of Zion", you know!) to get the US to bleed its armed forces, so that Israeli boys wouldn't have to die to take over the Middle East.  And we all know that the Iranians have no intention of ever USING nuclear weapons.  They just need them for their national pride, or as a deterrent against Israeli agression with THEIR nukes.

No, you're not an anti-Semite at all.  It's just that you, along with all those progressives like Ahmedinijad, Assad, Nasrallah and Saudi Arabia's Abdallah don't like Jews who aren't ready to commit national suicide.  After all, why shouldn't "those people" just accept inaccurate missle fire.  It only kills a few people!  Not like those Jewish war-criminal Nazis who murder the innocent Gazan civillians who can't hit what they aim at anyway!  And threats of nuclear annihilation --Nobody can take THAT seriously!  It would be suicidal!  Really, now!  When did anybody in the Middle East ever commit suicide just to be able to blow up somebody he didn't agree with?    

Glenn Beck should be required viewing for all remaining Moderate, Centrist, Bi-Partisan, Wimp-Trained, Sellout, Compromising, so-called Democrats and so-called reasonable Republicans. 

Simple reason they won't fire him:

Profits are their only motive. News is secondary... if there's even any real news at all.

I must take issue with your comments.  First of all, if you actually listened to Mr. Beck you would certainly be aware that he acknowledges big business is behind the game plan that is being played out in Washington.  He has been reporting this prior to the Obama administration, so please quit trying to make this into a race war.  It is clearly not about race. 

I would also like to know where and when the picture of the people in the white hoods was taken.  Certainly if these were/are followers of Mr. Beck, you should have no problem in providing the day/date/time/location of the picture. 

As for followers of Mr. Beck being 'confused, television-fed simple minded white Americans', I find it rather interesting that most of the 'progressives' that I personally know, rarely even watch/read/or even listen to any news from any station.   Most of them obtain their news from soundbytes from Keith Olberman, Bill Mahr or some other 'anchorman/comedian'. 

Both the democrats and republicans are to blame for our current situation.  Our economy has tanked, even though the 'news' reports that jobless claims have decreased last month.  Open your eyes:  Look around you:  Do you see any new businesses opening up?  Any of your friends 'get a job' other than flipping burgers at the local Mickey D's?  Let's talk manufacturing, oh yes, wait a  minute, that occurs in China and Mexico.  Auto industry?  Lucky for us that our government is running the auto industry.  Oh wait a minute, these are the same people who can't run the Post Office, Medicare is bankrupt and riled with fraud and abuse, Social Security is on it's last leg. 

Can one of you 'progressives' please SHOW me how having the government run something CAN actually work?  

For the record, I've been a democrat most of my life, voted as a republican a few times too.  Did NOT vote for GWB or McCain.  So please feel free to write an intelligent letter, without name calling (seems like you progressives LOVE to do that) and give me the facts, just the facts.

 Mussolini made the trains run on time.  That is s a fact.  Therefore, Mussolini is a great leader is an opinion infered from the fact. Beck is not about simple mud slinging or distortions of  fact.  He is about incitement to political violence.  And that is fact

... that we Progressives are meaningless, impotent mouse-holders and key pushers, do you?  I mean, what do you suggest that we DO?!  Besides read BF I mean.  Is spectating, and arm-chair-quarterbacking, scapegoating, rock-throwing and Obama-whipping all that you feel we are good for, or that these comprise the limits of our abilities?  Your article is important and brilliant, but when with all that, you don't suggest what we do?  Makes me wonder.  Is all then lost?  Or did I miss that part?

During the election Ed Schultz and other liberal talkers called Hillary Clinton everything under the sun including racist......how is that different from Beck calling Obama racist?  I started watching Beck to see what all the controversy was all about and quite frankly he is not any different from what I heard on the liberal shows I used to listen to on Air America.  They targeted the right and Beck targets the left.  I will give Beck credit for one thing, he at least documents his evidence when he makes charges and a quick fact check of his Tuesday show checked out. You all need to put on your big boy and big girl pants and accept that as long as there is no explicit threat of harm, this is free speech.  I thought the left was big on that.  Guess not so much when you are the targets.
