Is Glenn Beck a Putz or Just Totally Nuts?

Sixties kids followed Abbie Hoffman
And many of them did find
Their parents suggesting that Hoffman
Seemed a bit out of his mind.
 
Well, in this case, they were right
And I can now say with clarity
That poor Hoffman was suffering
From the illness of bipolarity.
 
The whole Baby Boomer generation
Hoffman hoped to unbridle
But couldn’t hold himself together &
His last act was suicidal.
 
I’m reminded of a recovering alcoholic
Who oddly often bursts into tears
Who was also a drug addict & has had
Suicidal thoughts over the years.
 
He has a bigger fan base than Hoffman
Another radical throwing rocks
But not from Hoffman’s side of aisle ---
He’s Mister Glenn Beck of Fox.
 
Years from now, aging Republicans may
Arise and say, “What a putz!
I’m still right wing but I was so wrong ---
Glenn Beck was totally nuts.”
