Subject: Carly Fiorina was effectively fired from HP

Dear Buzz readers:

Some say that Palin destroyed McCain's campaign, but in fact, it was not her. Let's dig deeper. Carly Fiorina is the person who ran McCain's campaign. Countless voters called to tell Sen. McCain not to have her run his campaign. He did not listen. Why do I think Carly Fiorina is capable of destroying organizations she is with? Let's ask those at Lucent Technologies first. Then let's ask why Carly Fiorina (her ex-husband's last name) REALLY left HP. She was told by the HP board that she was to share her power or hit the road. Carly chose the highway. She was effectively fired from HP.

Why did the board at HP try to kick Carly Fiorina out? The stock was at about $30 when Carly took over the company as CEO. Carly Fiornia drove the stock down to almost $20. She laid off 57,000 people, gave herself a $25,000,000 bonus, and then the new CEO took over. Now the stock is around $47, and that is during a recession. If Carly Fiorina can do a hatchet job on a company when times were good, imagine what Carly could do in DC during a recession? And she is running her campaign on a jobs message, saying a jobless recovery is not acceptable? Well, Carly, I guess you would know since you are the queen of layoffs.

I've been reading BuzzFlash for years now -- can't even count. Maybe since the beginning? In any case, I just wanted you to know that I LOVE the new format. Love it.

Subject: There are lies, perjury, treason, and the general welfare

I think it should be abundantly clear that former Vice President Dick Cheney committed treason by revealing the identity of CIA agent Valerie Plame. Only a moron or a right wing nut job would still be in denial. By some weird technicality his lies under oath do not constitue perjury......... because he could not recall, or remember, or recollect exactly why he made notes in his own hand writing.

So a lie is not a lie if you don't remember the lie. You are not responsible for your actions if you simply say you don't recall your actions. Why then do murderers and rapists then bother to go with the insanity defense, when all you have to do is say you do not remember. Then even words you have written by your own hands become meaningless, and the written word is sort of like a fingerprint, right? We all have our own style. Experts can ascertain who did or signed what by the signature of your writings. They develope personality profiles around our script. But they can't put you in jail if you don't know why you wrote what you wrote.

Thus lies are not perjury, they are a defense. Perjury in this case would put you in prison for committing treason. Lies let you walk the streets. How many hundreds of thousands of people did Dick Cheney kill or torture? He identified a covert CIA agent whose job it was to keep 300 million people safe. And yet through the brilliance of lies, Dick Cheney is a free man. I will grant you there are degrees of lies, most are really harmless to the general welfare of our nation. Some however are not. I think there should be a Lying Law passed by Congress. Those who purposefully lie to the American people to promote corporate welfare should be prosecuted. There are those sorts of lies being played out through the media on a daily basis. The topics range from healthcare reform to the environment.

People like Joe Lieberman and those who want CO2 in grand abundance to be considered harmless should be sent off to prison. They lie. Single Payer, Universal Healthcare is a good thing. It is cost effective and by all measures (life expectancy) outperforms our care for all your cash system. And NO a whole shitload of CO2 is bad just like a whole bunch of Selenium, which we need in small amounts, would kill you. Lies should be against the law when they harm the general welfare. Dick Cheney, Joel Lieberman, and Michelle Bachman all belong in prison as their lies do in fact harm the general welfare. And one last comment, was it just me or did candidate Hoffman look as though he should only come out at night?

Subject: In Vietnam, Iraq As In Afghanistan Puppet Governments Beget Corruption

The reason being that puppets know that once their puppeteer masters pack up & go home, they'll be in serious trouble with the natives, and since it's unlikely that opportunity will ever come knocking again, their thinking is might as well get rich while the getting is good, what with the natives looking upon them as traitors, which translates into serious trouble for any puppets that the puppeteers happen to leave behind, since for sure the natives, angry at having been sold out, will demand that justice be done.
