Subject: A new war is not the solution to our current depression

People looking at the 1930s depression are worried that the government may start a new war to take us out of these economic hard times. If you look at history, World War II did not end the depression in the United States. INCREASED LOCAL PRODUCTION did.

Jobs were created en masse. Old people and women, many of whom had never before been in the work force entered it as factories put on triple shifts building battleships, airplanes, and keeping the supply lines going to the troops.

Nowadays, all those jobs are overseas, the people who own (and closed) this countries factories are sitting on their piles of money and have no intention of doing anything else.

So war is not the answer, but making the USA a manufacturing giant again is. This should really be obvious to the people we send to overpaid public office. Should be, anyway.

But I guess that's why I make the small bucks.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy BuzzFlash. And in particular Tim Mooring. He's obviously very articulate and en pointe in all he writes. His sense of humor echoes throughout his often biting prose. I do so enjoy his efforts and often wish we had his voice in Congress! Tim thank you for always making my day!

Subject: America without Republicans

I want may country back,without the TODAY, Republicans!

Those who call themselves Americans WHO wrap themselves in the American flag, have done nothing to build up America but are doing their best to tear it down, and keep it at the Bush/Cheney level. In other words to keep America in the dumper!

They hate President Obama, they hate Democrats, they HATE America! They cheer when our President tries, and if it doesn't work for his efforts, they cheer louder.

They protect the wealthy, even the poorer Republicans themselves kneel at the feet of those who are living with billions of dollars. The poor republicans who help the rich obtain wealth with their own sweat,blood and tears,and dare to protest against others, poor just like themselves. These are misguided souls!

They prefer to be our enemies. Why?

Republicans disrespect President Obama for the color of his skin, and lie when they say, this is not true, when time and time again they prove racism by their actions.

So in my perfect world there would be NO Republicans, the Republicans, they have become.The Republicans who have Limbaugh, and Beck as their spokesmen!

The so-called GOP no longer exists. The party of Lincoln has imploded and become an unfunny joke. It is time for the Republican party to rename itself: it would be more apropos for them to call themselves the Neo-Nazi Party.

Yes, that is exactly what we need in this wussy party...this man said it just like it is...Bravo!

It has been a long time since anyone had the guts....and I am happy someone at last did!

Surely Nancy and Harry cannot have any kind of bone to pick with him,,since they just did not have the intestinal fortitude to come out with it.. In the Clinton days...the right wing got so accustomed to having democrats beg forgive- ness when they had to go to the bathroom it is hard to put up with...they think they can say or do one thing they want...and, hey,""You dems just live with it" Well, it is time they learned , that ain't gonna be the way..anymore...thanks Mr. Grayson..and thanks for noticing Mr. Ballew!
