Subject: Rich get richer
WASHINGTON (AP) - Households pushed their savings rate to the highest level in more than 15 years in May as a big boost in incomes from the government's stimulus program was devoted more to bolstering nest eggs than increased spending

[BuzzFlash Note: Yes, as usual the rich are doing just fine, compared to most. But as this article reminds readers, Obama's stimulus package directly boosted incomes for the poor and working people: "The income increase reflected temporary factors relating to the $787 billion economic stimulus program that ... included one-time payments to people receiving Social Security and other government pension benefits. ... The stimulus package also featured reductions in payroll tax withholding ..."]

Subject: Same As It Ever Was
You'd have thought that something monumental happened last November when we elected Barack Obama as President. That would have been so if the office of U.S. President had any tangible power. It doesn't, quite unfortunately.
Our once great country has been completely controlled by private interests for longer than my lifetime. Bush, while a sociopathic cretin, was not the architect of our destruction. America's demise came at the hands of private bankers granted investor status by the repeal of Glass-Steagall, at the hands of market manipulators like Helicopter Ben and Alan Greenspan, at the hands of energy and insurance CEOs equally oblivious to the human condition as Bush and Cheney, at the hands of Israeli and non-Israeli Zionists whose army specializes in terror, at so many hands completely untouchable by the office of U.S. President.
President Obama, during his campaign, had high hopes and great aspirations for leading us out of the Middle Ages. Then he got to meet the real people who control America, you know, the ones who threatened Martial Law if Congress didn't give them trillions of our dollars. The same ones who have kept us from energy efficient cars, homes and workplaces. The same ones who who gave the traitor Cheney all that recent airtime to lie to us, again. Sure, all the networks know that Cheney is the equivalent of Idi Amin Dada and that whatever came out of his mouth would be poison to the human spirit, but, hey, as Brian Williams put it, "That's what we do".
As I have previously asserted, no real change will ever manifest from any status quo, however subtly modified. The only way to neuter the mad dogs that continue to threaten our very existence with their prepubescent irresponsibility is to cut off their cash flow. It is, by the way, our cash - damn near all of it.
They still use that phrase - 'creating wealth'. Wealth is undeniably material, and matter is neither created nor destroyed. They never created anything but havoc. They took our wealth and claimed it for their own via the legislated coercion of the State. It is truly taxation without representation, the very reason we fought the most meaningful war in our country's brief history, the American Revolution. It was the tyranny of an outside agency that turned farmers into soldiers, wives into medics and children into adults way too soon.
We now hear the rustling of a familiar wind. It is the storm of discontent and outright fury over the open pillaging of the United States by a tiny concentration of private wealth, the self-titled 'smartest guys in the room'. Greenspan himself was fond of that one.
I challenge their eligibility as sole inheritors of the Kingdom. Only the most qualified may rule a civilized society. They're not even close. The class of person that most civilizations would exile now runs the show. When next threatened with Martial Law or Armageddon for a failure to comply with the bankers' and corporations' extortion, we need to respond with our own ultimatum - a total shutdown of the money machinery they rely on to daily operate, a machinery that grinds to a halt without all the sentient automatons - that's us - to run it.
President Obama's apparent morphing from a Populist to a Centrist is much more due to the contaminated association he must endure than from any ramping of ambition. We didn't hear from the bankers and corporations when Bush was illegally president, for he was their boy. Obama isn't, and likely never will be. Now their shrill whining has reached the level of a two-year-old's tantrum, amply amplified by Mouse Media. They're still pissed they couldn't toss the election to the PalinDrone, like they tossed '00 and '04 to Bush. Some small number of small-minded people are determined to prevent the American people from prevailing on our own land. Let's aid and abet the extinction of a failed system.

Subject: Rush Limpbag
Sometimes...and I know this is not right, but I will turn Limbaugh on in the car...because I am already p*****...it is 95 degrees at 9:30 am...and it makes my blood boil, so that it makes me GO!!
I did that this morning, and unfortunately, it just made me laugh!! Rush was actually blaming Obama for the Sanford lapse....is that funny? or is it sad? Mostly, it is just Rush!!
He could blame any death in this country...on Obama...and he will, given time! He tries to impress on us that the reason Sanford ran...was just because he could not stand to stick around and hear anymore of this Stim. bill being sent...He had not wanted it, you see, for his state (although we all know that he took it)...so, the poor, unfortunate sad governor...just lit out and went to Argentina!
Woe is me!! Alas!! That this president had enough in him to cause a governor of a state to do this...to once again...cheat on his wife who knew exactly what he was doing...but, hey--he was not hiking nude on the Appalachian trail...nor was he even near the trail on Fathers Day. His poor Deputy was in the dark as to where he was... Well, we will just have to mark another lapse in moral judgment up to the Democratic Party...
I am sitting here laughing so hard, I am almost crying...they are the Party of Nonsense, and at least attempt to blame anyone but the Republicans for anything wrong they have managed to do. Rush says, "I don't blame Gov. Sanford...he cannot count on anything being done the way he wants it. He just could not stand to hear anymore about the stim. bill...we all know Sanford took it! Funny, right after that, and this usually does not happen on the Rush show...a man called in and told him he had been listening to him for a long time, as have I (but for different reasons)...and he was now at his wit's end...with Rush going on and on about how he does not care about healthcare, because he always has enough money to pay for anything that afflicts him...the man, on the other end, questioned that. "I am a Vietnam Vet, I have not had any chance like you have...I have no money and someone has to help the little guy to stay alive."He did, in fact, remind Rush that by his own admission, he had had a back operation that had gone bad (not!) and he, Rush, had become addicted to pain medication. "You know that!" the guy reminded him. (Rush had been putting down tort reform as most reps. are wont to do, when it comes to the cost of health care...it's not much!
Rush, of course, was livid, blue in the face, even when you cannot see his face!!! Actually...you know that commercial for the show on TV...where the funny looking guy gets so mad his head blows off??? That will happen to Rush Limbaugh one day...when the world gets enough of his s*** ... and gets on radio to talk to him...and reminds him enough of his failings...he will explode, folks!!! And, he thinks he can always care for himself?
