Subject: fox news calls sanford a democrat
I can't paste the photo in here, but Fox news of course identified SC gov Sanford as (D). This should be front page headlines.

Subject: Despicable
The GOP cannot stop themselves from name calling of our President.
Can they go any further down than calling President Obama, Hitler? Comparing him to Bush, was really low, now Hitler, this is despicable.
The Cheney/Rove/Bush administration broke every law in the book, from theft to torture, for eight long, grueling, hair-raising years, that brought America to its knees. They seem to have a convenient loss of memory, like we have grown to expect from the Republicans. From senseless wars to the crises of Americans dealing with job losses, loss of security, you name it we are dealing with the last President's follies.
What do they have left to offer the American people? Not good ideas, but the ever loving calling of names. This is the fool's way of dealing with the mistakes made.
Mistake is too kind a word for what they did to America! They sat back and cheered the Bush administration, and the question is "Why did they let this happen?" Seems they were drunk with power! Like a drunk, morning came, and there was a new good and honest leader in town. The Republicans, confused as ever, could think of nothing else to do but try to bring this new President down. What to do with a man who wanted to bond instead of hate? Hate is understood, but kindness, NO!
All these affairs that we are finding out about, could the reason be they have broken hearts and are searching for love??????

Subject: FOX News Labels Sanford a Democrat
FOX NEWS doesn't even try being factual anymore.
FOX NEWS has long done this crap before -- many many times--- whenever a REPUBLICAN screws up FOX NEWS somehow always calls that REPUBLICAN a "Democrat" over and over again.

Subject: CNN going downhill
A few years back you could count on CNN covering at least one or two important stories a week. Now the only things covered are Republican talking points, Republican right-wing pundits, or human interest stories. Today (Thursday) the only stories were how bad a public health option would be, and how one town hall meeting by Obama proves the media has a liberal bias. Not one question was asked by CNN commentators that challenged either position. It wasn't even asked why not one Representative in congress has opted out of their terrible no-choice socialized medicine plan. It wasn't even asked what about radical right-wing having a 24 hour around the clock network of their own, FOX. I am getting as repulsed watching CNN as when I hear talk-radio.
On the other hand, The Daily Show Wednesday had an intelligent discussion on the events in Iran. Why don't some of these pundits/cowards on network news learn real news coverage by watching a show that's supposed to be fake ?

Subject: Don't Cry for Me, Governor Sanford
Unlike most people the most shocking thing that the Governor of South Carolina revealed wasn't that he had an affair. After listening to him refuse the stimulus money when the people of his state were running out of unemployment, I was more surprised that this guy knew where Argentina was.

Subject: Democrats were and are complicit
We will never have true change in our government until we admit to ourselves and the world that the republicons have been successful due only to the fact that they had and still have a good deal of support from our Democrats. I fear these same politicians are going to cause the failure of the Obama presidency, and then where in hell will we be? So many of us are still in denial when it comes to realizing the fact that the republicons have been enabled and supported by several inside the Democratic Party. The right wing still has a strangle hold on the Senate with just forty seats. How in hell is this possible?

Subject: Sanford and the trail
Wholly Mole! Call The Guinness Book of World Records. Mark Sanford Governor of South Carolina just walked the entire length of the Appalachian Trail and then continued on down to the southern tip of South America and he accomplished this miraculous feat in only four days. Those Republicans are really Supermen after all, Huh?

Subject: Military Macho Movies
If Bin Laden is out there somewhere, perhaps imagining that Obama’s timid response to Iran is as good a time as any to answer Dick Cheney’s prayers and try a comeback, both Bin Laden and Cheney can count on an unexpected recruitment tool, Michael Bay’s summer release, “Transformers 2,” reverently awaited by millions of military-age boys. At its halfway point, the movie switches from fantasy to an unrelenting military assault on Egyptian pyramids and villages. The movie even mentions President Obama, who is sent into hiding while white men in fatigues unleash every weapon imaginable on whatever lurks in the sand. Boys will leave the movie theater, happy that American guns have once again destroyed a part of the world to save it, and Bin Laden can use the movie to prove that the American imagination is more violent than he ever dreamed possible.

Subject: Priority Sequence For A Family Values Politician
Hi BuzzFlash,
So let me see if I have the families sequence straight, right from the mouth of a Family Value Politician.
According to Mark Sanford, when apologizing to a group of reporters, the sequence of saying you're sorry for adultery goes like this...
"As a consequence, I hurt her (1st - the adulteress). I hurt you all (2nd -the staffers/reporters). I hurt my wife (3rd place). I hurt my boys (4th place). I hurt friends like Tom Davis (5th place). I hurt a lot of different folks (6th place). I also hurt this muscle in my thigh (7th place), but no one’s gonna give me any sympathy for that."
So when saying your sorry, the wife (or former wife) comes in 3rd place, the four sons come in 4th place - - and the disappearance of Gov. Sanford starts on Fathers Day.
Refresh my memories again ... which party supposedly LACKS "Family Values" and which party says they OWN "Family Values"?
