Subject: Another Triumph Over Terrorists
The WaPo reports that we've "crippled" AQI. They also broke the news about another crippled organization back in 2003:
"The failure of al Qaeda to launch terrorist attacks against the United States or its allies during the war in Iraq has bolstered a growing belief among U.S. intelligence agencies that 19 months of worldwide counterterrorism operations and arrests have nearly crippled the organization."
Al-Qaeda In Iraq Reported Crippled (Washington Post)
I'm sure their reporting today is just as accurate as it was in 2003.

Subject: When The Wheels Come Off & The Chickens Come Home To Roost
The wheels are coming off the Bush Administration and while many are leaving the ship as fast as possible, a whole flock of chickens are coming home to roost. (Didn't think it was possible to mix that many metaphors in one sentence did you?) Many of us have known for a long time what a pitiful vehicle is the BushBus. Now only true believers remain on board. True believers will never let facts get in the way of what they want to believe. Nothing penetrates their fog of intractability. Are there allegations and such like against their Great God Bush? Lies, all lies, by the liberal press and the evil godless left.
As, one by one, the lies, distortions and crimes against this country and its constitution become public knowledge, the chickens coming home to roost are not a friendly flock. Quite the contrary, these are some seriously furious fowls.
Meanwhile, down with the bottom-feeders, life continues on much as usual. Bash a Democrat a day with whatever lies, distortions and/or misrepresentation of facts available. Check. Scoff at or ignore any "fact" you don't like and always keep in mind that Jesus loves you better than the liberals. Cause they're godless, and will not admit that gays and immigrants have rights just like everyone else. Remember that all good conservatives know that Jesus hated the same things that conservatives hate. Ignore any suggestion that Jesus was about love and not hate because that couldn't possibly be true.
And last but not least, don't forget to spout as many sour grapes about Al Gore winning the Nobel Peace Prize as possible. Because we wouldn't want the rest of the world to think that Americans might possibly be proud of a native son for such an achievement.

Subject: To Senator Clinton -- Your vote on the Iran resolution troubling
Hello, Senator.
Your vote in support of the Iran resolution is profoundly troubling.
Hillary Clinton - Presidential Election of 2008 - Democrats - Iran - Revolution
Surely you must know that the Iranian enrichment program is legal under the NPT, and that their efforts to date have not even reached 4% enrichment - at the low end for nuclear fuel - far from the 95% needed for weapons grade material. The Bush illegal invasion of Iraq will have the result of enormously benefiting the strength of Iran in the region. It is too late to "fix" this, and it is not possible to receive any benefit from precipitation of further illegal acts of war.
You may feel secure enough to pander to the Right and pick up some votes, but I cannot believe your vote on this matter was based on informed principle. You have made a bad mistake with your vote, which has the effect of encouraging further hate-mongering and use of force by the Cheney-Bush administration. Rather than dance around this, you should move quickly to close HJR 114, and the earlier resolution authorizing use of force.
In point of fact, there is no Authorization to Use Force justifying post-Occupation military actions in Iraq now underway - formalization of that reality is long overdue. If there is one lesson to be learned from the last six years of experience, NO AUTHORIZATION TO USE MILITARY FORCE (short of a Declaration of War) should be granted by Congress to any president, as it is apparently not possible to close such a resolution - in spite of clear law spelling out the responsibility and power of Congress to do so (the governing legislation being the War Powers Act of 1973).
Go forward, since you can't go back on your mistake.
Regards anyway,

If the Busheviks are allowed to leave office without being held accountable, how and by whom will they ever be brought to justice?
How will we ever find out what really happened? What about the war crimes trial they so richly deserve? How will they get their just desserts if they simply leave Washington and continue to manipulate behind the scenes?
Someone should be planning now to make sure they don't get away with it. Does anyone have any (sensible, thought-out) ideas, speculations, possibilities?

She's harping on all the flaws she recognizes in Russian democracy. She's left herself wide open. Every abuse of democracy that she warns of is a cornerstone of the new pseudo democracy now in place in the good old us of a.
From the article:
"US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has voiced concern about Russia's direction by saying too much power is concentrated within the Kremlin."
Hmmm ... the Kremlin? ... isn't that something like the unitary executive?
"Earlier she met human rights activists and said she wanted to help them build institutions to protect people from the 'arbitrary power of the state.'"
Gee...arbitrary power...would that be like ignoring the wishes of 70% of the American people?
"Everybody has doubts about the full independence of the judiciary."
No doubts in the us of a.

Subject: McConnell and the GOP smear of Graeme Frost and his family
To BuzzFlash,
Please post today's Paul Krugman's NYT article, "Sliming of Graeme Frost," the 12-year-old who suffered a major head injury in an auto accident, was in a coma for 5 1/2 months, and benefited from S-CHIP. Krugman is the first to highlight the fact that Don Stewart, Mitch McConnell's Communication Director, sent an email to the GOP and the media on Monday 10/8, with bogus talking points that would be used to smear Graeme Frost and his family. McConnell's talking points were used verbatim by John Roberts on CNN yesterday when he brushed aside the GOP role in smearing Graeme and blamed the Democrats.
This travesty against the Frost family is beyond the pale. I just called McConnell's office to ask about this story. Does Don Stewart still have his job? The woman said that McConnell had nothing to do with the email. I asked if Stewart wrote emails from the office without McConnell's authorization. Will McConnell make a statement about this horrible smear against Graeme Frost? She was testy and said no.
Please tell all your readers to call McConnell's two offices and demand an answer. DC: 1-800-828-0498 and Louisville: 502-582-6304

Subject: Thoughts on Al Gore Winning the Nobel Peace Prize
Holy guacamole!! Al Gore just won the Nobel Peace Prize. For some time now, I've had a sneaking suspicion that he was going to, nevertheless, it still comes as something of a surprise.
So in this corner we have a person who has won an Academy Award for his movie, has won the Nobel Peace Prize, arguably THE most prestigious award in the world, and has the respect and admiration of people all over planet earth. And also actually won the presidency in 2000, but was not allowed to serve his term, because of an insanely out-of-control U.S. Supreme Court.
-- and in the other corner we have a chickens**t chickenhawk pathological liar, alcoholic cokehead, mass murderer and war criminal, who even now squats in the White House, making plans to invade Iran, and usher in World War III, the Greater Depression, and unleash hell-on-earth.
In the history of the universe, has there ever been a greater dichotomy between two candidates?

Subject: Congrats to Al Gore
I want to congratulate Al Gore for his well deserved Nobel Peace Prize. Maybe we will be able to solve the global warming problem before it's too late because of Al Gore's work. Many people are trying to push Al Gore to run for president, but I think it's too late for that. But when Hillary wins the nomination I think that if she offered Al Gore his old job back as vice president that he'd be a great VP again. Many people still have Clinton/Gore bumper stickers on their cars so instead of drafting Gore for President, let's draft Gore for vice president.

Subject: On Sour Grapes And Hissy Fits
Oh my, the right wing has got it's knickers all in a twist. The right side of the dial is filled with all the insults they can think of, the one area where they are semi-creative, to hurl at Al Gore. How dare he win the Nobel Peace Prize? We thought that we, with the help of the media, made him irrelevant years ago.
How dare Al Gore win the Nobel Peace Prize? If a liberal won the Nobel, then it must not be worth spit. Demean Gore and demean the Nobel and have a temper tantrum all over media like a bunch of spoiled little twits that didn't like the girl that got to be homecoming queen.
The bottomless base of the right wing may well swallow and indeed revel in all the nastiness coming from their pundits. They usually do, having no class, decency or the ability to see beyond their narrow little worldview.
Hopefully, for the rest of the country, a former vice-President of the United States winning the Nobel Peace Prize makes them proud as Americans.
For those bottom feeders and their little hissy fits we would all feel very sorry for you if we weren't so damn tired of your whining. So spew your sour grapes and have another of your little tantrums and pretend that what you think or what you say matters. Because when your temper tantrum is finished, Al Gore will still have the Nobel Peace Prize and most of the world will still think he deserves it. And if Al Gore didn't have so much more class and integrity than you bottom feeders, he might get some satisfaction from that.

Why do YOU ALL insist on "Impeachment" when it just AIN'T a gonna happen? The IDIOT has too much on all of the Dems for Nancy and company to let it happen ... Also "THE FAMILY" has purchased 9800 acres in Paraguay ... and Paraguay does not extradite war criminals ... therefore when the IDIOT'S term is over... the "family" moves to their acreage and all live happily ever after ... on all the riches they made from the Iraq war and our children's lives ... go figure.
It happened right here in "OUR AMERICA"... or the America that we thought was ours ... How did we ever let it happen people? One more thing ... PLEASE leave Al Gore alone ... They shamed him and his family enough ... why would the man want to go through it all again?
PLEASE FORGET EVEN THINKING OF DRAFTING AL GORE ... LET HIM DO THE THINGS HE'S NOW DOING FOR ALL OF OUR GOOD ... Let him and his family live in peace.

Subject: Our Representatives
Our representatives have excellent health care that we pay for with our taxes and they get to decide how much the rest of us get of the exact same thing.
Our representatives are protected by secret service, metal detectors, and military guards that we pay for with our taxes and they decide that the best way for people to be safe in their homes and schools is for anyone to get their hands on any and all guns they want to possess and all the ammunition they can carry.
Our representatives get paid with money from our taxes and still feel perfectly free to collect all the money they can from corporate donations and corporate free rides, all the time they decide that corporations can outsource our jobs to foreign countries, even so-called communist countries. And they decide when and where the workers can be represented by unions as in the firing of the air traffic controllers under Reagan and the consistent under-funding of air traffic controllers ever since. (They are now thinking of outsourcing or privatizing our air traffic control since the government has done such a lousy job of funding the service.) Over and over again they get to decide that what is good for the rulers is not good for the people.
I keep remembering that that is exactly what was going on in France right before the French Revolution. Many neocons may not know their history, but we may soon be reliving it. I only hope we can avoid that bloodbath, I do not think I would want to live through that.

law is covering up evidence
A few days ago, I posted suspicions of interference with my resume writing employment by TWC-in conjunction with the government workforce agents in PA, GA, NY and NE. I have written a public review of the US Labor Board, to get the message to them that something is going on. The reason I wrote it publicly, is so my emails cannot be intercepted and altered before getting to them.
Since I made this complaint, I have been seeing non stop cover ups or what appears to be to me is removal of evidence. Right here, right now, COX communications is overhere; I have no clue what they are doing. Someone working in the COX office could very well be responsible for getting everything I do on this computer to government employees, such as the University of Louisiana, to use for malicious intent. I suspected this of someone in Verizon in Dallas too.
It is amazing when I make these "FARFETCHED" complaints, how there is cover ups that follow attempting to explain away my allegations.
Last night, there were 4 resume orders that came up on the board. Strange circumstances, one of these requests were from Lafayette, Louisiana. I told the company to be on guard about that particular order; I suspected this was a plant by Louisiana Works-Lafayette division to collect information they obtained illegally, such as spying on my computer, spying into the writing company’s system, then contacting the customer before I even get the order to them. The resume orders stayed up there for a while, then suddenly after sending this message, three of those orders disappeared. The information if the orders were taken by another writer or cancelled is not available to me. It is a secure internal database (not the email over the Internet) messages are sent. I realized there was potentially something about the other two orders. They seem to be trying to cover up that complaint about the format I use pretty heavily. One customer requested to know what type of format; another one said he wanted a writer in financial-I worked in corporate offices in accounting departments and night auditor. By the way I got the jobs with a resume using my same format I typed myself, that these customers are complaining about.
Everyone of these customers, there are four of them, should be charged with conspiracy against me; but I do not have any say so over how the law goes. After going to all the law enforcement agents, the congressmen, the senators I went too-I should have never had trouble at that University, much less this right here. This should had been stopped a long time ago.
I am also seeing traces of the ballet professor. I write on my dance resume’s that I have lots of physical stamina and endurance; comments I overheard the modern dance professor claiming there was no way I could have the energy level that matches the younger dancers. Neither of those dance professors had any reasons at all to see any of my resumes. One resume customer who had a football scholarship, I put that on his resume-and he complained endlessly about it. He put on his resume that he did all this physical labor, loading and unloading-and he repeated several times I put that on his reusme. So there may be traces of the dance professors. Sarah Stravanska has been using my legal or government information to identify me, track me, then cause trouble. I do not understand why so many professional people would listen to her.
