America's Diversity Saved us from Disaster in Times Square and Merits the Wings of Justice Award

TIMES SQUARE VENDORS ALIOUE NIASSE, DUANE JACKSON, AND LANCE ORTON
Three Times Square street vendors alerted police about a car emitting smoke this past weekend. These warnings directly led to the discovery of the failed terrorist bomb attempt on the famed center of Manhattan. One of the men is Muslim and two are black Vietnam Veterans, eking a living out of the streets of New York.
In the United States we are all American, not just the Tea Party and the self-designated greedy patriots of the GOP. That three non-White patriots saved this nation from a terrorist attack goes a long way toward debunking the "white first" message of FOX News, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.
America is a shared country that gains strength from its diversity, not a Country Club of white oligarchs and bigoted populist Tea Baggers.
The right wing nut jubs owe their lives to people of diversity like the Times Square Vendors, and to the largely non-white members of the voluntary military who serves our nation.
To the three Times Square vendors who saved many from death and injury, we proudly award the BuzzFlash Wings of Justice Award
