Given Chip Saltsman's "musical taste," he wins the GOP Hypocrite of the Week

Welcome back to the BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite of the Week.

BuzzFlash has long called the Republican Party for what it is, largely a band of Neo-Confederates who think the South will eventually win the Civil War through obstructing the legislative process and economy of the United States of America. If that sounds exaggerated, just look at the recent Republican senators who worked tirelessly to sabotage the American auto industry.

So when Chip Saltsman, a Nashville aspirant to head the RNC, sends out an offensive CD for the holidays that included the racially inflammatory "Barack the Magic Negro," you know he's performing the 'ol racist Republican in a pinstripe suit routine.

Sure, Saltsman and his GOP supporters express outrage at how anyone could interpret such good "clean" satire as inappropriate. But that's just gross hypocrisy for the underlying racism of the Republican Party that came part and parcel with the Nixon Southern Strategy. Like a nasty case of flu, it has never left.

Saltsman comes with Republican bonafides. He was the "Huckster" Huckabee's campaign manager and an aide to Bill "Cut the Heart Out of America" Frist.

His holiday CD was another bitter, spiteful, divisive, arrogant, Neo-Confederate expression of the moral bankruptcy of the GOP.

There are a diminishing number of white males in America who think that they are somehow superior to the people with whom they share this country.

They should stop hiding behind "humor" as a cover for their true pre-Civil War outlook.

They should just abandon their hypocrisy and put on their white hoods and sheets. At least then they would be honest for a change.

Remember our motto: So many Republican hypocrites, so little time.

Obstruction

The auto loan vote was interesting. If you count the number of voters who each Senator represented then the auto loan was supported 2-1. The Senators divided in a bizarrely outdated manner. On the other hand the votes of the House of Representatives looked - well - representative. Chip Saltsman has hopefully blown his chances of becoming head of the RNC - but I am sure that he will remain welcome amongst the good ol' boys.

The N Word

Lets face it folks, the extreme, right of the GOP and their sychophants cannot stand the thought of a black family moving into the White House in a couple of weeks, so in their miasma of rage they put out racist songs like: Obama the Magic Negro and call it satire.They left out the word that they use in private ( the N word ) because they know they couldn't get away with it!

and back wards thinking I've read....they're numbers are dwindling (dying out, voted out, retired)..some of them have resorted to violence, corruption, conspiracy in their frustration (in prison, ongoing Abramoff scandal is still netting big names.... makes Blagojevich look like a choir boy)....maybe common sense and good will towards our own country and its people will again pervail...(in our life time)...I really believe that come next election..2010 their numbers will dwindle even further...not increase..the truth is coming out..people are extremely tired of their pettiness and obstruction...the blinders are off..nothing like an economic crash to get the attention of the people and keep the focus on the foolishness of the "Southern Caucus" and their "kill the American workers and American manufacturer's, protect the foreign worker and foreign companies" (that attitude doesn't seem like what a patriotic American Senator should think and do, now does it...?)

We can complain and be accused of being all p.c. - or we can send around a song reminding everyone that Suthrin' Rethuglicans are frothing racists, misogynists and homophobes...and when they whine, just look at them innocently and say, "But - WE find calling you stupid hick inbred cousin-f*^king braindead bigots hilarious! Where's your sense of humor, anyway?"

>:) PS: My wife, not kindly, recently called me a "Communist Propagandist" for my somewhat harsh ways of speaking about Traitorous Repiglicans - then got upset when I smiled and thanked her for it.... :D

Confederates slash Conservatives, they have trolls up on yahoo stock message boards posting "Barack the Magic Negro", been re-posting that same post for months - tirelessly. I would always come back and write:

Republicans: WRONG about racism

What cookie cutter response? "David Byrd - he is a Democrat and he used to be prejudiced". (and we Democrats therefore shouldnt point fingers).

Fine with me then Confederates - DONT GET IT. Just keep wondering why black Americans keep treating you Confederates so unfair.

Stirling West The recent CD distributed by GOP leadership aspirant, Chip Saltsman, indicates a degree of immaturity and insensitivity that defies imagination in an aspiring office holder. Not being an American, it is exceptionally difficult to understand the audience to whom Chip Saltsman is playing. One would expect, and hope, that it is a very small audience indeed and that it is shrinking daily. It's also difficult to understand how those in the GOP would not create such an embarassing outcry that Mr. Saltsman would be sent to Coventry for some while, if not forever. Many people in the rest of the world watch this nonsense with incredulity and feel a sense of shame for what has been a very much admired country. If this is the best the GOP can do, and if this is one they are proud to call their own, then the ship has been run upon the rocks and conservative values, one of which is respect, have been sadly diminished.
