Sen. Jim Bunning (R-KY) gets baseball justice from the Motor City

BE-ELECTED
by Chad Rubel

Very few senators outside Michigan have as kind a following as Sen. Jim Bunning (R-KY). After all, Bunning was a Major League Baseball pitcher who started his career with the Detroit Tigers. And Bunning won 118 games with 1,406 strikeouts with the Tigers from 1955 to 1963.

In fact, he was scheduled for some time to sign baseballs for $35 each and sign bats for $55 in suburban Taylor, Michigan over the weekend.

But then we have the reaction from Southern GOP Senators, Bunning included, strongly against the potential auto company bailout. And the GOP successfully worked to defeat the measure, Bunning was uninivited.

"Being a business owner in Michigan for over 30 years, I simply cannot support anyone who, in my opinion, votes against the economic well-being of our great state," said Gibraltar Trade Center President Jim Koester.

Bunning has been accused on not having full control of his facilities. So perhaps he didn't know that the Detroit where the Big 3 are is the same Detroit where he thrilled baseball fans and was planning to make a few bucks over the weekend. Now, he might have a better idea, thanks to having a lighter wallet.

CLASS WARFARE HAS BEGUN..... and if you don't have $20M --->

YOU SHOULD BE WITH THE WORKERS OF AMERICA!!! My heart goes out to ALL UNION WORKERS.... including the SOON TO BE....

And the GOP too.

This is the way Democrats and Obama need to work. Put the Repub's back where they belong and in their place. Then, bring everyone together.

Obama Is Doing This

With his naming Rick Warren to give the First Invocation, Obama has taken the wooden horse left behind by the GOP Trojans as they left the field of political battle into the city. Once Warren raises the cry, the staunch Republican Christian cohorts can storm the Capitol and regain the power they deem divinely theirs.
