I know that the story goes: Plame was outed to discredit her Husband when he called bullsh!+ on Bush's lies. I may just be cynical but I don't buy it. Cheney and Rumsfeld, along with Poppy Bush, are arms dealers. They play both the "legitimate" market, selling F16s to Israel and South Africa, etc. and the black market, like surface to air missiles to the Mujahadeen(now al Qaeda) and Iran. When not squatting on Government property, they work for major armaments manufacturers. For all their rhetoric about WMDs, they have looked the other way as "friends of ours", Israel, India, Pakistan... go nuclear. One of the most prolific Black Market proliferators, Pakistan's A Q Kahn, sold nuclear technologies to North Korea, Iran, Libya and who knows who else. He's served his four years of House Arrest and is free again. These things don't happen in a vacuum. Stuff has to physically move around the globe (through the Port of Dubai, for instance) and money changes hands, all this leaves a trail. And we have agencies like NSA and CIA that track this stuff. If you were Dick Cheney (and you should thank God you are not) and you were trying to "counter-proliferate" that is spread the nuclear genie out to "Friendlies" clandestinely, you would want to find out which agency and what team you were up against, right? So you float a bogus bill of sale for Yellowcake from Niger to Saddam over Langley and see who rises to the bait. CIA put their best team on it, this was a request from the Vice, after all. They got lucky when Plame's hubby, a retired Diplomat with extensive contacts in Africa took the assignment, gratis, as a duty to his nation. Joe Wilson was one of a dozen people that looked into the matter and declared it bogus. When he heard Bush still on the meme, months later, he did what most people wouldn't ever dare do, he stood up. He wrote an Op-Ed, What I did NOT find in Africa, published in the NYT. That gave Cheney a plausible political excuse to expose Plame. Yes, its a dirty deal, but that's politics, y'know. And that keeps us discussing the "revenge against Wilson" meme, not looking at the criminal undercurrent. Plame's exposure was not just the end of her effective career. Her network of operatives, cultured over fifteen or twenty years, Her cover company, including her peer-level operatives, and everyone that they had done business with around the globe, were all compromised. There's no way to know how many were liquidated, but her large, expensive and very valuable organization blinked out of existence. And now, Cheney's free to play. That's only one of the crimes of this misAdministration.

I say let's quit beating around the bush (so to speak!) and get right to it. Aren't you tired of talking about a second American revolution in such veiled and hypothetical terms? Let's start planning and executing it. God knows it's long overdue. It is said that less than 25% of the US population were actively involved in fomenting and carrying out the first revolution. What could tens or hundreds of thousands of informed activists/true patriots accomplish if carrying out a coordinated campaign with the aid of the internet and the benefit of 225 years of political understanding?

In my opinion the first thing is to understand the Matrix we are in, crystal clear. Buzzflash is a godsend in that respect. However two other critical resources just out must be included: Korten's "The Great Turning" and Moore's "Escaping the Matrix." Understand these two books and you have filled in the gaps that can lead to a successful societal transformation.

These two books make clear that:

- "The Great Turning" must be preceded by an awakening/transformation/maturation in consciousness,

- left and right "divisions" must be transcended (not to mention left/left and right/right strife) by use of new collaboration technologies as we are all in this together. (Moore calls this the harmonization imperative)

- fundamentally, rule by elites is what must be overthrown by an active population committed to the work of building local economies and cultures and taking responsibility for making their own decisions

- whatever our opinion, the collapse of power centralizing elites due to a convergence of megatrends is exactly what is in store; so we either need to seize the moment and move forward together or face collapse unprepared and disorganized.

I have had a real awakening this year about where to put my energies - how about you?

Under the USA PATRIOT ACT, Section 802 of HR 3162 defines domestic terrorism as "activities that - involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States:... and "appear to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;" or "to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion;".

Clearly, it is illegal for anyone, including individuals working in the White House or with the media, to publicly reveal a person is operating undercover for the CIA.

Next, the White House and Robert Novak conspired to have an important undercover asset Valerie Plame taken out of the REAL war on terrorism.

Any resource contacts Plame might have had in hostile countries were immediately put at risk. A guest on the Randi Rhodes show last year suggested resources connected through Brewster Jennings, Valerie Plame's cover employer, were in fact apprehended and disappeared. Also put at risk is the safety and well being of every American at home or abroad.

Finally, Joseph Wilson, Plame’s husband said, "but what it really is, is an attempt to keep anybody else from coming forward" to reveal similar intelligence lapses.

So there you have it, violation of criminal law, acts dangerous to human life, and intimidation of our civilian population. This is, in my opinion, a clear case of Domestic Terrorism, as defined by the Patriot Act, committed by the White House, and by Robert Novak who outed both Valerie Plame and Brewster Jennings in his columns.

Bush/Cheney may control the White House, but they cannot unilaterally destroy the effectiveness of a legal CIA covert operation and betray and endanger the lives of undercover agents as well as all Americans.

I say, let the courts decide the fate of these traitors. The White House officials and Robert Novak must be arrested and charged with Domestic Terrorism.

Solely for political gain, they knowingly took valuable resources away from the real battle against terrorism and destroyed the career of Valerie Plame and possibly the lives of other undercover agents in hostile countries.

Through the intimidation of outing Valerie Plame, the White House influenced government employees, members of the media, the policies of the U.S. government, and they endangered the lives of every single U.S. citizen at home and abroad.

The Republican party wants to follow the China model of government and capitalism.

The Republican party wants to use our citizens to give it dictatorial power so it will function as a one party state with capitalism.

Do you want a second American revolution? Boycott, go on a purchasing strike against the major donors to the Republican party and make legislative demands of the donors.

What CEO wants thousands of people calling him, telling him they will boycott his company until people get a set of demanded progressive legislation?

What CEO of a company wants half of his customer base to disapppear?

There is no doubt in my mind that the outing of Valerie Plame-Wilson in an act of vengeance against her husband for publishing the truth about the falsified documents Bush used as part of his casus belli qualifies as a 'high crime', and as such, is one of many Bush crimes for which he deserves to be impeached. However, as long as his cronies control the House, they will take no action against him.
