The Clintons Court the Right Wing Because They are Better at Knee-Capping Fellow Dems Than Republicans

Why have Bill and Hillary Clinton spent the last 8 years sucking up to the vast right wing conspiracy (as evidenced in recent blogs that I have written)? Not to mention Bill Clinton's odd "friendship" and mutual admiration society with George Herbert Walker Bush. (Clinton a few months back said that if Hillary is elected that he and Poppy Bush might travel around the world as roving ambassadors to improve America's image. We are not making this up.)

Well, we are going to offer even more evidence of the right-wing conspiracy Clinton rapprochement in a glowing interview and tribute to Bill Clinton that appeared last fall in NewsMax, of which Richard Mellon Scaife is a main shareholder.

But we speculate that the Clintons -- while Hillary espouses increasingly populist working class themes to win economically dislocated white votes, even though she publicly supported NAFTA (as we now know from her White House schedule) in her husband's administration -- have two goals. One is that Bill needs to raise money for his gargantuan Clinton foundation efforts, and you can be sure that Richard Mellon Scaife (who he has been courting) and other right-wing media moguls are on that list of donors that he won't reveal because it would be mighty embarrassing to Hillary's campaign.

More importantly, the Clintons have been good and ruthless at running campaigns for themselves for the most part (although Bill lost a couple in Arkansas), but they have been dreadful at defining a vision and developing a power base to lead America away from the Reagan legacy. Most of Bill Clinton's legislative legacy as President is one of giving the Republicans basically what they want, with some DLC goals thrown into the mix. The NAFTA legislation is a key example.

Newt Gingrich ran with a strategically brilliant simple dumbed-down "Contract with America" and took the House back for the Republicans in 1994 after years of softening up the voters by getting Democratic House leadership tainted by blowing petty improprieties into major crimes. The Clintons still, to this day, think that "they" lost the House in 1994 because of Clinton's support for a now defunct assault weapons legislation. They were out-gunned, yes, but not because Clinton actually asserted leadership on gun control; it was because Gingrich had, like Reagan's packagers before him, a long-term strategy for achieving legislative power. He had a vision that he sold to the American public, after laying the groundwork for the sales job by softening up his "enemy."

The Clintons are not long-term strategists. They fight for the day. That is why Howard Wolfson, Harold Ickes, and Phil Singer end up piling on absurd, illogical statements in their daily press phone calls. Because the entire Clinton campaign is run now in six-hour news cycles. So Obama one day is declared not ready to be Commander-in-Chief, but the Clintons need votes in Mississippi so, as a tag team, they opportunistically suggest that Obama might be a good Vice President on a Clinton ticket, part of the now cliched "dream team." When the Clinton camp is then asked how he could be a heart beat away from the presidency if he has not crossed the "threshold" to be Commander-in-Chief, we believe it was Wolfson who said -- and we are paraphrasing but not by much: "Well, there's a long time between now and August, and he might be ready by the Convention."

Senator Hillary Clinton has a briefcase full of programs, that is true. But she and Bill have always lacked the ability to bring the electorate to a higher ground -- or vision -- to support an overall agenda. The irony is that the majority of the electorate agrees with a large chunk of progressive government initiatives, but the Clintons can't get them passed. Bill spent his elected years in Arkansas and as president in a near-permanent state of conceding the legislative agenda to the Republicans. In short, the Clintons campaign on the offense, but they govern on the defense.

Part of that problem is also that the Clintons run for themselves first, and they are not very good at helping Democrats win "downticket." This means you get the Clintons as president, but you don't get working majorities in Congress, because the Clintons are not really "Democratic Party First" people. They are Democratic Party last people, unless the Democratic Party is willing to become the Clinton Party, which is the Democratic half of the Republicrat Party.

I'll discuss more of this at another time (and remember I was a bona fide Clinton fanatic in the '90s and started BuzzFlash to counter the vast right-wing conspiracy that had run a think tank-media-legal hit job on the Clintons).

But onto the NewsMax interview with Bill Clinton. As I have noted in recent BuzzFlash Editor's Blogs, the Clintons have made it a priority to cultivate the vast right-wing conspiracy, and leave us who fought the conspiracy on their behalf high and dry.

A fellow right-wing site, World Net Daily, notes: "Scaife's NewsMax, a popular and once enthusiastically pro-Republican news website co-owned with Christopher Ruddy, who famously investigated the mysterious death of Clinton's deputy White House counsel Vincent Foster and the strange death of Commerce Secretary Ron Brown" wrote a glowing tribute to the former president.

Media Matters notes something that puts the turnaround in historic perspective:

Scaife apparently withdrew his funding from The American Spectator's Arkansas Project -- a $2.4 million effort to dig up negative information about the Clintons -- in 1997 after the magazine printed a negative review of a book by NewsMax founder and editor Christopher Ruddy, a former reporter at the Scaife-owned Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, suggesting that former Clinton White House counsel Vincent Foster was murdered, despite numerous investigations concluding that his death was a suicide. Newsweek reported on May 18, 1998, that "Scaife no longer gives money to the Spectator. Sources at the magazine suggest that he was miffed when the Spectator panned a book written by his favorite conspiracist, reporter Christopher Ruddy." Even right-wing pundit Ann Coulter, in her book Slander, dismissed Ruddy's book: "Even if Christopher Ruddy's The Strange Death of Vince Foster was considered a conservative hoax book, it was also conservatives who discredited it."

But times change. Who conducted the "puff piece" NewsMax interview with Bill Clinton? Why Christopher "Vince Foster didn't commit suicide" Ruddy!

Newsweek had an informative November 19, 2007, article on the recent Bill Clinton/Richard Mellon Scaife "mutual admiration society."

But back to the flattering Bill Clinton NewsMax interview published on Halloween of 2007.

Ruddy's introduction to the interview sounds like Barbara Walters wrote it:

Bill Clinton remains more powerful than ever – despite having left the White House almost seven years ago.

In a recent interview with Newsmax, the former president tells of his new book, his global charity campaign, and his role if his wife becomes president next year.

His book “Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World” debuted at the top of the New York Times Best-Seller list when it was published in September, and has been called a “powerful, inspirational guide” for everyday citizens...

The Clinton Global Initiative boasts more than 570 commitments worth an astounding $10 billion, involving more than 1,000 organizations and targeting 100 countries.

There is no doubt Bill Clinton has broken the mold of what we expect from a former president.

And there is also no question that in the past Bill Clinton has engendered considerable controversy. But there should be little disagreement today that he is doing exemplary work and is acting as a positive force for the United States.

Dear me, has the vast right-wing conspiracy gone soft?

And in a promo for their print magazine profile of Bill Clinton, NewsMax teases:

Bill is back!

Nearly seven years after he left the White House, Bill Clinton is surprisingly more influential than ever.

He’s become a tireless pitchman for charitable causes globally, the undisputed king of the worldwide lecture circuit – and with wife Hillary the leading Democratic candidate for president, a potential queen maker in 2008.

NewsMax magazine’s special report "Bill Clinton Still (Very Much) in Power" takes an in-depth look at the controversial political and cultural powerhouse who is redefining what it means to be an ex-president.

But our favorite previewed bullet point highlights from the interview are:

  • Why President Bush calls Bill "my new brother"
  • Why Bill is proving to be Hillary’s "secret weapon"
  • Clinton’s surprising alliance with former President Bush
  • How Bill’s gift of gab rakes in millions
  • Clinton’s lucrative relationship with billionaire Ron Burkle
  • How Bill woos the African-American vote for Hillary

Yes, that last one certainly wins the irony of the year award for NewsMax predictions.

So just remember, folks, these are the Clintons who have cozied up to Richard Mellon Scaife. Senator Clinton read from a written script a response not-so-subtly attacking the Obama/Jeremiah Wright relationship while sitting next to Richard Mellon Scaife at an editorial board meeting of the Pittsburgh vanity paper that he loses millions of dollars a year subsidizing. Clinton had been asked about Obama and Wright for a week and demurred, but the Bosnia sniper fire lie had just been debunked by a CBS videotape the day before her Scaife rendezvous. So her campaign instructed her to take down Obama to divert attention. When the going gets rough, go the low road has been the campaign slogan of Clinton Inc. the last couple of months.

When the going gets rough, and you need to change the political story from your own personal lie that cuts to the core of whether you have any real foreign policy experience -- and told multiple times with growing embellishment -- there's no better friend than Richard Mellon Scaife. It's the next best thing to shouting it out on the Bill O'Reilly show we guess.

But you'll have to ask the Clinton campaign.

BuzzFlash isn't about to suck up to Richard Mellon Scaife. We're just wondering if James "Mary Matalin" Carville considers Bill and Hillary Clinton Judases for all of this.

Hey, James, want to comment on that?

BUZZFLASH EDITOR'S BLOG

Who Else, RE: the Clintons Again

Like a broken record you rag on the Clintons and make the stupidest assumptions. Why not drop your blogging and try to do something constructive such as being a progressive watchdog for the left?

What will it take?

How many more articles like this are needed before people realize that all the Clinton's are are 'players." They have no philosophy, other than being in charge.

Good question

Articles like this appear on every so-called progressive Website everyday and are parroted loud and long by almost all of Obama's cult supporters -- who refuse to even consider anything in the least uncomplimentary about their Saviour in waiting. Yet, in spite of this daily Karl Rove flogging of Senator Clinton, the tracking polls show only slight fluctuations between the candidates. If Obama is the nominee, then Karl Rove (and his MSM) will not be on your side anymore in the destruction of Clinton. When the tables turn, you will not be able to constantly harp that McCain stop saying unkind things about Obama and should just drop out of the race and let the pre-ordained Obama have the White House. If you progressive chumps remained neutral like you should, then Hillary Clinton would have mopped up the place by now with Obama's lies, missteps and vacant promises.

Think about what you are doing to the chances for the Democratic Party's nominee if it should turn out to be Sen Clinton. And you think you are so clever. For this and many other reasons, I hope you are collecting good recipes for crow as you are gnawing your foot off to excape the trap you are setting for yourselves and all of us life-long Democrats.

Clintons worse than any Republican ever

I guess the point of the column is suppose to be that the GOP is ready to make Bill Clinton their new spokesperson. And what does that mean for Obama and his campaign of new ideas and a chance to change politics as usual in Washington especially with supporters like Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, after being in Washington for 40 years they might actually have a new idea and how do we know if they aren't really in with the GOP too, they did support Bill Clinton. And how about Obama supporters from the Clinton administration itself, I guess we only can hope that they aren't really GOP operatives like their former boss. Can Obama really trust any support he gets from Democrats? They might all turn out like Bill Clinton and do interviews with Republicans. And possibly the worst thing that could ever happen would be Newsmax doing an interview with Obama or what if for any reason Obama ever has his picture taken with Scaife, we'll never be able to trust him after that. You just can't trust Democrats to be Democrats.

Mellon Balling

Low road indeed. Thanks to Buzzflash for providing the FACTS.

The media is the knee cappers!!!

Why is the media not letting the American people know who is Obama..an-AntiAmerican supporter.. Interesting Article!! Read & Share!Breaking from Newsmax.com Unconvinced by Obama’s Wright Speech Barack Obama’s speech last week addressing his 20-year relationship with his radical pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, was very well done, yet unconvincing. Obama sought to explain that relationship and why he could not end this close association, despite the minister's hate-filled rhetoric. He said, “There will no doubt be those for whom my statements of condemnation are not enough. Why associate myself with Rev. Wright in the first place, they may ask? Why not join another church?” Yes, those are the questions that people are asking. Many of Rev. Wright’s incendiary statements are on videos sold by his church. Minister Louis Farrakhan, a friend of Rev. Wright with whom he traveled to visit Muammar Qadaffi in Libya, also makes his sermons and those of others associated with the Nation of Islam available for sale. Their attacks on the U.S. and Israel often coincide with those of Rev. Wright Rev. Wright’s sermons charge that the U.S. government gives African-Americans drugs, created AIDS, and is deliberately infecting blacks with that disease. His sermons claim that the U.S. unjustifiably nuclear bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II, and that 9/11 and the deaths of 3,000 Americans were caused by U.S. foreign policy. He alleges Israeli state terrorism against the Palestinians; calling Israel a “dirty word” and “racist country.” He blames Israel for 9/11 and supports the divestment campaign against it, denouncing “Zionism.” His venomous thoughts are summed up in his most discussed sermon in which he says the U.S. government “wants us to sing God Bless America. No, no, not God Bless America. God damn America. God damn America for killing innocent people.” Sen. Obama in his speech acknowledged that the rantings of his minister are “inexcusable,” but stated, “I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother — a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.” Before we discuss his grandmother, let’s examine the impact of Rev. Wright’s statements on the senator’s two daughters. Nothing says it better than a song from the musical “South Pacific,” to wit, “You have to be taught to hate and fear…You’ve got to be carefully taught.” Few dispute that Rev. Wright’s sermons are filled with hate. Why didn’t Obama stand up in the church and denounce his hateful statements or, at the very least, argue privately with his minister? It was horrifying to see on a video now viewed across America the congregation rise from the pews to applaud their minister’s rants. Now to Obama’s grandmother. There was a time spanning the 70’s to the mid-90s when many blacks and whites in large American cities expressed the same feelings on street crime held by Obama’s grandmother. Indeed, the Rev. Jesse Jackson made similar comments in 1993 at a meeting of his organization, Operation Push, devoted to street crime. According to a Nov. 29, 1993, article in the Chicago Sun Times, he said, “’We must face the No. 1 critical issue of our day. It is youth crime in general and black-on-black crime in particular.’ Then Jackson told the audience, ‘There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery. Then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved . . . After all we have been through,’ he said. ‘Just to think we can’t walk down our own streets, how humiliating.’” Isn’t that exactly what Obama’s grandmother was referring to? To equate her fears, similar to Jesse Jackson’s, with Wright’s anti-American, anti-white, anti-Jew, and anti-Israel rantings is despicable coming from a grandson. In today’s vernacular, he threw her under the wheels of the bus to keep his presidential campaign rolling. For shame. What is it that I and others expected Obama to do? A great leader with conscience and courage would have stood up and faced down anyone who engages in such conduct. I expect a president of the United States to have the strength of character to denounce and disown enemies of America — foreign and domestic — and yes, even his friends and confidants when they get seriously out of line. What if a minister in a church attended primarily by white congregants or a rabbi in a synagogue attended primarily by Jews made comparable statements that were hostile to African-Americans? I have no doubt that the congregants would have immediately stood up and openly denounced the offending cleric. Others would have criticized that cleric in private. Some would surely have ended their relationships with their congregation. Obama didn’t do any of these things. His recent condemnations of Wright’s hate-filled speech are, in my opinion, a case of too little, too late. It is also disturbing to me that Obama’s wife, Michelle, during a speech in Wisconsin last month, said, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.” Strange. This is a woman who has had a good life, with opportunities few whites or blacks have been given. When she entered Princeton and Harvard and later became a partner in a prestigious law firm, didn’t she feel proud to be an American? When she and the senator bought their new home, was there no feeling of accomplishment and pride in being a U.S. citizen? When her husband was elected to the state legislature and subsequently to the United States Senate, didn’t she feel proud of her country? Obama was asked if he thought his speech changed any minds. He replied he didn’t think so, and certainly not of those who weren’t already for him. A more important question is, whether his 20-year relationship with Wright has done lasting damage to his candidacy. We will soon know. © 2008 Newsmax. All rights reserved. Editor's Notes:

Who are you anyway?

What are you doing posting Newsmax crap in here? Do we track mud through your house? Please spare us the amateur-hour writings of Newsmax, we don't read it, means nothing to us, so there.

Pssssst .... Read the article

Mark reads Newsmax (and Drudge) ... and uses them as a source!

And you troll

And you troll use them as your bible.

A week later, Andy?

C'mon .... No need to be afraid.

Stupid

Amazing, the most inane, ridiculous posts from Hillary supporters pass muster while somewhat insulting posts by Obama supporters...deleted. Grow some balls, Buzzflash.

Stupid

I posted 15 lies Obama had said & they were all deleted within a day, and you're griping??

You mean it gets worse

Holy Crap Park Man, you mean that you managed to post something nasty about Clinton and positive about Obama and it was deleted? What could you possible have to say bad about her that has not been repeated over and over again by Karl Rove and Obama supporters alike everyday?

Go away.

You were wasting bandwidth a few weeks ago with your delusional rants about Obama, and your praise of Mrs. Bill Clinton. Find a nice right-wing site where your insanity will be appreciated, and leave the intelligent, sane people alone.

Get real, Charlie

. . . and I suppose you think that you are one of the "intelligent, sane people"?

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

That is rich! Try re-reading some of your posts, Betty, and see if you stand by that description of yourself.

Don't really know much about this, but ...

if Clinton's foundation is charitable, doesn't he have to reveal donors? Or can they remain anonmymous? Even if he had a list to release, couldn't he just change names on it to "Anonymous" and no one would know? People give anonymously to charities all the time.

The whole Clinton/Tribune Review/Scaife thing is just so out in left field for me I find it nearly impossible to comprehend. This is the man and the newspaper who tried to bring down Bill Clinton -- and I mean tried with every single fiber of his being. Scaife and his star reporter at the time, Chris Rudd (now the big cheese at Newsmax) essentially accused the Clintons of murder (Vince Foster) and a whole host of other things. Now she stands shoulder-to-shoulder with this germ? It just boggles my mind. Does not compute.

Democratic Party Tradition

Ah the pot calling the kettle black. First the Democratic Party operatives "knee-capped" Mike Gravel. Then they "knee-capped" Dennis Kucinich. Nancy Pelosi "knee-capped" John Conyers and shut him up, and anyone else for that matter that loves the US Constitution enough to prosecute those who violate it. Now BuzzFlash, having appointed Obama as the savior-apparent, is "knee-capping" Hillary by accusing her of "knee-capping" Obama. Diespicable, eh? It amazing how Democrats turn against each other? How deserving? That is, however, the nature of a party that no longer cares about the working class ideals it formerly espoused. It is, however, what one would expect from power obsessed, corporate backed lackeys and operatives. And they blame Ralph Nader for having an ego! You run Ralph and watch your knees.

Huh?

Occidental Oil...look it up.

Da Clintons..

I live here in my little bubble called The OC. I've met a lot of celebs and politicians (Hillary's brother Tony, Barbara Boxer, Gray Davis, Jerry Brown) but the majority of my info/impressions comes from TV, print, and internet media. So, like most people, I must rely on "second hand" judgments/expertise. I've read Buzzflash from its inception. It has helped temper my rage since the stolen 2000 election began the ruination of my country. On some days I might not believe in God. But I beleive in and trust the judgment of Mark Karlin. One can argue that he's done more to preserve democracy than both Clintons AND Obama put together. I'll keep contributing and listening to Buzz. -Joe Weber, Esq. Costa Mesa, CA

Buzzflash......... The New Hate Machine

I've read your articles & commentaries for a number of years now & never thought I would see you publishing such biased crap.

You are doing just what the cable news networks are doing...becoming a hateful gossip machine for one candidate.

Sorta makes your logo "Fight Ignorance: Read BuzzFlash.com" a sick joke doesn't it?

Maggie

Just wait till Jesus gets his hands on you, you little bastard.... Abbie Hoffman

Hillary's Pastor

The Clintons are neither liberals or conservatives, they are shameless opportunists. If we are to judge Obama by his pastor, why not ask who Hillary "worships" with? "Through all of her years in Washington, Clinton has been an active participant in conservative Bible study and prayer circles that are part of a secretive Capitol Hill group known as the Fellowship. Her collaborations with right-wingers such as Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) and former Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) grow in part from that connection. "A lot of evangelicals would see that as just cynical exploitation," says the Reverend Rob Schenck, a former leader of the militant anti-abortion group Operation Rescue who now ministers to decision makers in Washington. "I don't....there is a real good that is infected in people when they are around Jesus talk, and open Bibles, and prayer." Facts are often biased, madam

I found Karlin's post to be spot-on and factually defendable. If you do not wish to read what you consider distasteful about your chosen candidate, why do you come here? And why do you use a Hoffman quote to insinuate that this man might not make it into Heaven once Jesus gets his hands on him? And for what? Sheez, can we please chill out and leave the afterlife out of this?

Blindly support Obama or get lost

If you don't like "Buzzflash: The New Ignorance", then why do you come here? This site has been taken over by a new breed of "true" Democrats who do not believe in having a political primary or competing ideas and voices. The voters be damned! We don't want to hear anything that does not fit into our preconceived notions of our guy. We may have just recently found this Website, and we will be gone when the primaries are over, but for now we will scream loudly and long if any of you dare to challenge our "beliefs". You must give up now, because we want a cakewalk into the White House. And that goes for the Republicans too. They better not even think of saying anything bad about our infallible, holy candidate or we will call them names too.

Let's raise the discourse level here

Mr. Jones, no one has "taken over" this site, at least as far as I am aware. People are free to come here and post as they wish (though why some choose to do so escapes me). Personally, I am in favor of letting Hillary and her supporters choose when to concede (if that time comes). Then, hopefully our party can come together.

Two sides of your mouth

You say "People are free to come here and post as they wish . . ." and "let Hillary decide when to concede". I call you attention to the post to which I replied where you said: "If you do not wish to read what you consider distasteful about your chosen candidate, why do you come here?" If that is not an invitation to get lost, I don't know what is. How long have you been posting here Ms Bowden?

More Buzzflash bashing from Robert the Troll

Robert the Troll types up a bunch of straw man arguments, knocks them down, then stares at his dim reflection in the monitor and says to himself, "I'm such a clever Troll!"

Dream on mental munchkin, dream on.

have pity for assholenick

Andy is retarded and can't make cogent arguments in an adult conversation, so all he can do is call people names like "troll" when he doesn't understand what they are saying. Troll is a term (that has been applied to Andy time and time again) for old gay men who hang around gay bars and try to feel up the young guys. Have pity on him. He is no longer allowed to leave his house (and must wear a police monitoring device) because of stalking young men. Now he just stalks me on Buzzflash.

The Clinton Brain

I think Bill clinton's brain should be studied by scientists for posterity after he passes. Truly I cannot imagaine what he is up to at this point, cozying up to people who hate his guts. But Bill is nothing if not practical. He's trying to get his wife a win in the popular vote, and if that means begging "Limbaugh democrats" to cross over and vote for his wife in the democratic primaries, he'll goddamn well do it. Why do you think he's praising McCain everyday? Bill knows that the only path for the nomination for Hillary comes through a popular vote win--so this is all about courting an untapped electorate--Limbaugh "democrats." But God is it so unseemly to watch...

Wow Mark! Go for it big guy!

Speaking truth to power (these days DLC / Clinton Power) will always be a hot seat. Keep up the great work

Newsmax

It's so agonizing to watch the hapless Democrats fight to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, three in a row, jees. I read in NewsMax that Obama is really a Muslim and he doesn't love America, must be true so why do you all hate America.

A message only from Obama! Marsiskut!

People are not saying anything that Obama has not with his actions told us loud and clear!! You support and Anti-American RAdical for Twenty Years..Make this Wright preacher your mentor, your spiritual advisor your head campaign spiritual advisor, baptise your childrem marry you and make him your closed friend..like an uncle for TWENTY YEARS..loud and clear I say.. Mentor=A person so close that influence's your Heart Mind and Soul Maybe not everyone understands what Mentor is...Twenty Years of mentoring is a long time!

Mentor = Lieberman

Actually, when Obama joined the US Senate, he chose Holy Joe Lieberman as his mentor

What Radical

Wright tells off rich white americans and speaks of the damage they have caused around the world and you act like he's attilla the hun or Hitler. Have you even gone on youtuBe and watched the entire 10 minute sermon? He was paraphrasing a white government official he had seen on the news, he wasn't even saying those things himself, even though they are true. People claim to want change but they want to pretend that America is perfect and without sin. Pure hypocrisy that shows your weak moral character. You call Wright a radical, I call you pathetic. And when's the last time you saw any white politician face scrutiny for any of the things their white preachers have said? White preachers bash gays, people of other beliefs, arabs, aethiests and all kinds of people on a daily basis saying things that make anything Rev. Wright said look like a Charlie Brown cartoon and no one in the media says a damn thing about it.

Are victims of bigotry not permitted to notice or complain?

Is Wright Right About Racism? By David Sirota Creators Syndicate, 3/28/08 Since the 1960s, bigotry has undergone an aesthetic makeover. Today, the most pernicious racists do not wear pointy hoods, scream epithets and anonymously burn crosses from behind masks. They don starched suits, recite sententious bromides and stage political lynchings before television cameras. For proof, behold the mob stalking Barack Obama's former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. Wright has long delivered fiery (and occasionally outrageous) sermons, to little fanfare. Now, though, a gang of thugs is inflicting a guilt-by-association blow to Obama by excoriating his spiritual adviser for three specific declarations. Sean Hannity, Fox News' own George Wallace, turned a fire hose on Wright for his church's focus. " is all about the black community," Hannity thundered, claiming that means Wright supports "a black-separatist agenda." Read the rest of this column at http://www.creators.com/opinion/david-sirota/is-wright-right-about-racism.html

Lemmings

i noticed, here is my complaint. Pastor Wright's rhetoric from his pulpit mimics that of the American Nazi Party, K .K. K., Arian Nation, Black Muslims, and a dozen other hate fueled groups. They all hate Jews, and the Black Muslims hate the blue eyed devils ( white folks). In fact Wright’s rhetoric is lifted right off the pages of the Black Muslim’s ( hate whitey) hand book. Obama forced his children to hear this hate speech in a church no less. The MSM is ignoring these facts for now, and you lemmings are going along with them. If Obama gets the nomination, then we will hear all these Obama negatives loud and clear from the MSM and the swift boaters and you will have helped elect another Republican.

Obama's lemmings

Democrats bashing the Clintons is unconscionable, and it helps the opposition. You are doing great harm to our chances in Nov. by bashing Ms. Clinton and ignoring Obama’s negatives. It’s a de ja vu event all over again, are you blind Obama fans, trying to torpedo democratic chances? Again? Wake up to reality, and smell the racism. Obama is tied to Wright as if they were Siamese twins. The hate speech from Wright’s pulpit is not unique in the African American culture. One can hear the same hateful political rhetoric in America’s prisons, spoken by the most radical hard core racist killers our society has ever seen. You type as though the swift-boaters went away, we haven’t seen anything yet. The fantasy Obama paints with his mouth doesn’t line up with his actions. Skip “Chainsaw” Roth.
