I wonder if we can get Bush's immigration law pushed through now? It was astonishingly reasonable, especially for him. Perhaps Obama and the Dems can continue their current trend of polishing off and pushing through old Republican proposals that are too reasonable for them now.

It's a shame that such a beautiful state has to have too many ugly people. I can remain far away and not miss them at all. And as for the few Arizona vendors I patronize, I have alternatives in other states who will get my business even if it costs me a bit more.

I'd like to travel to Arizona to try and entice a policeman to check my "papers" by dressing humbly, mumbling a few words in Polish and generally giving the impression of being an illegal Polish immigrant, just to see what happened and to gum up their works. 

I live here and would hope that Major League Soccer, Baseball and other chime in on the debate with boycotts.  They have a large portion of their players of Hispanic descent and should condemn this archaic law.

 I'm a Seattle native still resentful over the Harper Valley PTA of agitators brought in to make our lives miserable at WTO.

No one outside of Arizona has a right to tell them how to live, it's their state, their laws!  The busloads of agitators racing to trample their rights and  throw 70% of Arizona's population under the bus is frightening!
The people calling for boycotts sound like the same people that told half the population that "Healthcare Reform was law, made by our elected officials so shut up",... now the issue has changed and your double standards start kicking in...PATHETIC! BTW: Loved those peaceful protests, waaaay less threatening than those bigotted tea party protests, nice touch with the Swastika in beans, my hippie parents are spinning in their graves! Those people aren't protesters by any sense of the word, IT'S AN ARMY OF ILLEGAL COMBATANTS....yeah, that's right, I went there....what else are you gonna call them?

I suggest all the Democratic Americans that support Arizona's right to Democracy boycott the boycotters. I know I will, and I won't stop when they do, they're anti-democratic sentiments will not be forgotten as quickly as they forget about their boycott. So by all means, START THE BOYCOTTS! I'm sure the residents of Arizona won't find a way to strike back, and I'm sure they won't feel an upsurge in tourism from the law abiding citizens of this country.  The far left radicals hate it when you play their game according to their rules, I think it's time they get a taste of their own medicine,  BOYCOTT HATERS OF DEMOCRACY!

P.S.: Citizens of Arizona, don't worry about all this bs talk, most of the people threatening boycotts weren't gonna spend money in your state anyways, and I'm sure you'll see an upsurge of tourism now that people know your trying to make your state safer for everybody.  I'm already planning a trip with a gaggle of my gay freinds that still beleive in "DEMOCRACY", keep your chin up. ;0)

I'm an indie filmmaker with a feature ready to go into production later this year. While Arizona had been on my list as a potential shooting location, I've now scratched it because of this horrendous law.

I'm not going to subject my cast and crew, some of whom will undoubtedly be Hispanic, to potential harassment or even arrest by Arizona police -- and neither should any other producer. I've already written the Arizona film office to advised them of this, and hope other producers will do the same.

Progressives have to hit bigoted conservatives right where it will hurt them the most: in the wallet. Money and power are the only things conservatives understand -- and the only "principle" for which they will truly fight. Once a substantial economic backlash sets in, this law will be repealed.

I can't wait till I get a buying decision related to Arizona, I am going to ask to see a birth certificate from the owner and the manager and the salesperson, and whether they fax it to me or not forward the case to the authorities saying I think it's a fake!!!!  No sale, No question!!!!

Liberal Media? What Liberal Media?

Club I belong to held their annual convention in Birmingham, Alabama the other year.  That was a non-starter.  Won't be hard to divorce Arizona too.

After living in San Diego California most of my life, a diverse and moderately run military friendly Republican town, the  attitudes of my new neighbors in AZ -including law enforcement - were shockingly harsh.

When I firrst came here in the early 90's Sedona, McCains hometown,  actually tried to get all average working Joes to live out of town via a petition.  That's the essence of the white mans' forked tongue.  They want cheap labor , from anyone,  and then want you all to get out of their sight - so as not to judge their perversions and cravings of each other.

Yet the city council still allows and protectsa rundown mobile home park with only  Mexican tenants and ordered residents to pay any of the men standing at the curb waiting for some drive by employer a mimimum of $10.00 per hour.  Everyone knows it's almost all illegal workers being hired.

Mexicans, any minorities and Democrats in particular - stay the hell away from this state.  Don't feed the hate mills of Governor Brewer and the rest of the teaparty Republican legislature of this state.

Lets set an example of the power of the people against such tryanny and abuse!!

They just want your money only and could give a shit less if you personally are treated badly and could care even less of the impact their shitty treatment of you has on you or your families. Get real value for every dollar you spend -take a detour around Arizona. And if you see sany product with "Made in Arizona" on a label - don't touch it!
