Bugs Beck is Bonkers.

He is both.

This "person" should NOT be allowed to spew all of the crap that comes out of his mouth! The mear fact that he's allowed to is just a testament of how messed up this country has become. Everything that comes out of his mouth is hateful, fear mongering, racist retoric and it's beyond anything that's close to free speech!! I think he should be tared and feathered but that is too good for him!!! I agree with one of the posters that wrote you should have had a choice that Beck is both!!!

He is a lying, vicious, manipulative demagogue who deserves to be driven from the airwaves by a lack of audience and sponsors.  The only reason he's still on the air is because advertisers pay for him and people watch him.  Without an audience he is nothing but a pale piece of puke.

How about 'evil?'

I hated the word when being used by Bush and companions, but it seems to fit for Beck and his companions.

Evil = (Dictionary.com says,)

the wicked or immoral part of someone or something: The evil in his nature has destroyed the good."

Seems to me that shamelessness is evil on it's face! To knowingly do/say things that one knows will hurt other people, is EVIL!!  Morality was never something that Beck has had very much of. The best we could do for/with him is ignore him! He needs a comeupance and the best one would be for him to return to obscurity!  Of course, with all his money, he'll never be as obscure as he once was!

I think you need to add another choice to your poll.  There should be a choice of both ignorant and shameless.

Remember Tennessee Ernie Ford's song, Sixteen Tons?  It was a 50's song about exploited Appalachian coal miners working for little money... barely enough to pay the balance due on items purchased at the company-owned store.

Fast-forward to 2010.  Beck's intentions are to make millions.  In order to make those millions, he owes his soul to the Fox company store. Fox owns Beck and his soul.  We all know about those who sell their souls.  When the owner attains their objectives, the thoroughly used soul is eliminated.

I chose shameless with these caveats.  Shame is a private emotion, and we can never be sure Beck doesn't feel shame.  Ignorance is more than just not knowing what you are doing, it's ignoring everything that conflicts with what you want to believe or profess.  I would say though, that ignorance is rife on the right, and there seems to be a dearth of shame.

He would put all your women on the curb working for him if he had the power.

He knows exactly what he is doing as so many others here attest. It's all about the money. Nothing else matters to the Church of Media Mammon and its high priests Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, Coulter, . . .

Beck equates social justice, progressivism, liberalism, socialism, naziism, maoism, communism, and fascism because according to the principles of the John Birch Society and his philosophical hero Cleon Skousen, they're all of the exact same stripe - COLLECTIVISM.

THAT right there is the queen bee in his bonnet. That's his Grand Theory of Everything.

Beck is totally aware of what he is doing and cares only for whatever

money he can make. This was really brought home to me in the film

of Beck being prepared for one of his crybaby comments by having

drops put in his eyes to make sure he'd tear up at the right time.

Batsh*t crazy.

Beck is the broadest TV comedian since Benny Hill. The main difference is, the audience isn't meant to laugh; only Beck is...all the way to the bank.

He is totally aware of what he does.

I think it would be good to publish how much he is paid to do this. The teabaggers should know what kind of swag the guy takes home. So should we.

He could possibly be excused if he simply didn't know any better; there's hope for the uninformed, as they can be informed at some point. Beck knows what he's doing, no doubt about it.
