Why is Evangelical Minister John Hagee Telling the Jewish Nation How to Run Their Business? -- Barbara's Daily Buzz

Benjamin Netanyahu would do well to follow the example of previous Israeli leaders:

The Rabin government recognized the Palestine Liberation Organization as the Arab Palestinian's people's legitimate representative, negotiated with it and signed the Oslo agreements. Yitzhak Rabin also said he was ready in principle to withdraw from the whole Golan for complete peace with Syria...

The Barak government went to Camp David and Taba, acting along the tracks of the Clinton peace outline... 

The Sharon government was regarded with overall suspicion, which Sharon managed to relieve to some extent when he decided to withdraw unilaterally from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank...

The Olmert government conducted continuous negotiations, made far reaching proposals and even reached a few conditional oral agreements.

Far better strategies than "setting fires and pouring oil on the flames."

It's interesting that

The day after a series of talks between US Special Envoy for the Middle East George Mitchell and Netanyahu, and a day before Biden’s arrival, Netanyahu appeared onstage with Pastor John Hagee in Jerusalem.

And just what do you think they were celebrating?

The occasion was Hagee’s Night To Honor Israel, an event the far-right Texas-based preacher arranged to tout his ministry’s millions in donations to Israeli organizations and to level bellicose rhetoric against Israel’s perceived enemies...Hagee called Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad “the Hitler of the Middle East” and denounced the Goldstone Report as “character assassination by an unbiased and uninformed committee.”

...which prompted Netanyahu's response:

Netanyahu welcomed the crowd of 1000 American evangelicals to Jerusalem, a city he described as “the undivided, eternal capitol of the Jewish people. Then, he told them, “I salute you! The Jewish people salute you!” He used the rest of his speech to call for “tough, biting sanctions” against Iran that “bite deep into its energy sector.”

Now just who do you think is influencing Israel's policies? You hit the nail on the head if you said Evangelical Pastor John Hagee!  Now that's more than ironic, an Evangelical minister telling the Jewish Nation how to run their business!

As I hear so many on mainstream corporate media, anchors and pundits alike, repeating over and over that Israel is our strongest ally in the Middle East, I am of the notion that America is Israel's strongest ally in the Middle East and all over the rest of the world as well. Give credit where and when credit is due!

In order to reinforce the above statement, here is one from someone who knows it better than most:

...Continuing to build settlements in the West Bank, and even housing in disputed East Jerusalem, is sheer madness.

CNN has forgotten all that once made them great. Instead of maintaining the Ted Turner model of truth in broadcasting, they've stooped to the level of unfair and unbalanced FOX NEWS and this is their answer in the ratings wars:

CNN's hiring of RedState's Erick Erickson as a political analyst for John King's new show isn't remarkable... Conservative doesn't begin to describe Erickson (and probably does a disservice to conservatives).

How appropriate that Erickson will be appearing on John King's new show; John King certainly hasn't shown himself to be very objective of late!
