Belligerent Repugs, Mitch's Match and a Whole Lot of Questions that Leave the American People Wondering -- Barbara's Daily Buzz

Is this the end of civil rights?
The “Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010,” introduced by Senators John McCain and Joseph Lieberman on Thursday with little fanfare, “sets out a comprehensive policy for the detention, interrogation and trial of suspected enemy belligerents who are believed to have engaged in hostilities against the United States by requiring these individuals to be held in military custody, interrogated for their intelligence value and not provided with a Miranda warning,” writes the Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder.
And if this bill is enacted may I suggest they start with detaining the Repuglicans (and Joe Lieberman) in Congress, for they are the most belligerent bunch of utterly evil people in these United States! Stop and think about it, these guys have been the most hostile bunch ever against the United States, they haven't done a thing for the American people, all they've done is to lie, obstruct, and say NO!
Finally, Mr. Botox himself, Mitch McConnell has met his match! Thank You President Obama, someone needed to do it! McConnell is without shame, for he...
lovingly rubber-stamped every failed policy of the Bush Administration as they brought about the collapse of the American financial system and two costly, mismanaged wars, and embarked on a huge propoganda campaign to steal generations of Constitutional protections from the American people using the "War on Terror" as a guise...
The man and the rest of his ilk are responsible for the mess we find ourselves in today. They aided and abetted an illegal war, they sanctioned torture and abuse, they deregulated everything from soup to nuts, they aided and abetted corporations and sent American jobs out of the country, and they aren't doing jacks%*t to get this country out of the economic hole they dug. They won't stop until they bankrupt America so that they can control the masses!
This interview adds even more doubt to the 9/11 Commission report:
Hamilton: I don’t believe for a minute that we got everything right. We wrote a first draft of history. We wrote it under a lot of time pressure, and we sorted through the evidence as best we could....
Solomon: You write.. the first chapter of the book is 'the Commission was set up to fail.'
And fail it did. There are still a whole lot of questions that leave the American people wondering. Then there's this:
Solomon: ... an event as cataclysmic as 9/11, it begs the question: why was the administration so unwilling to budget this thing, and then Congress so unwilling to give money and let you guys go whole hog to do more?
Hamilton: (Laughs) I think basically it’s because they were afraid we were going to hang somebody, that we would point the finger, right in the middle of a presidential campaign - 'Mr. Bush, this was your fault' - or even Mr. Clinton....
