BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

Having heard all the yada about 60 votes and the need for 60 votes in the Senate, it makes me wonder where were the Democrats when the Repuglicans were in the majority? The Repuglicans are feeling mighty damn cocky for a just say NO minority! On this Martin Luther King birthday, the American people are witness to Repuglican objections to all things good for the American people, we are witness to the bias and the bigotry of the Repuglican Party, we are witness to how corporate money buys an entire political party in Washington, DC!

If you want to see UGLY, then come and take a walk on the inside to see how "evil" really operates in America! From E.J. Dionne in The Washington Post, "In June 2008, a few months before the financial implosions began, I asked two smart financiers who happened to be Republican about the future of the seemingly shaky American economy... one offered a dire and uncannily accurate forecast. He explained why banks would blow up, investments would crash and the federal government would have to spend 'at least $300 billion' to bail out financial institutions. The other financial expert listened closely, took a sip from his drink, and smiled. 'This,' he said, 'would seem like an excellent time for the Democrats to take power.' It wasn't that he liked Democratic policies. He just wanted the other side in charge when things came tumbling down." And there you have the Repuglican strategy on how to shift the blame for all the heartache, all the chaos and confusion, all the horror they, the Repuglicans created! Repuglicans don't give a damn about what's good for America, all they care about is how to keep the cash flowing into their pockets!

A prime example of just how far a Repuglican will go to win an election -- "In exclusive audio obtained by TPMDC and posted below, Kasich gives some insight into why he's so willing to embrace the tenets of the tea party movement. In two separate speeches last year, he warned his fellow Republicans that the tea partiers were serious about changing the Republican Party. So serious, he warned twice, that tea partiers would 'hang' Republicans 'from the nearest tree' if they don't get their way." And currently while trying to get the advantage in the Ohio race for Governor, Kasich -- "told a crowd yesterday he was a tea partier before it was cool." Memo to former House Representative Kaisch, tea partiers are not cool and neither are you!

Here we have Sarah Palin attempting to sound intelligent, but actually appearing ignorant -- "It was just a matter of time before more of that reflection of the people's uncomfortableness that they feel towards this administration is manifesting in these poll numbers." Reminds me of that last Repuglican who tried to sound like he had a brain! Where in the world do the Repuglicans dig up these "misunderestimated" candidates?? Do you think "he or her" will ever be "able to pass a literacy test"??
