BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

Rape and pedophilia are criminal offenses, to ignore and/or hide such offenses is as immoral and as criminal as the offender who committed such acts. Anyone, including a Bishop and/or a Cardinal for that matter, who aided and abetted rape and pedophilia, either intentionally or because they chose to ignore the behavior should be prosecuted along with the rapist and/or the child molester! If in fact they knew this kind of horrific behavior was going on and did nothing to prevent any further occurrence, then they, these so called Church leaders are as guilty as the offender! Then Bishop Walter Curtis, "...said he viewed pedophilia as 'an occasional thing' and not a serious psychological problem..." "Pedophilia not a serious problem" -- tell that one to the child who's been molested, tell that to the parents of a child who's been molested, my God what is the matter with the so called leadership in the Catholic Church, how can anyone take them seriously after a statement such as that!!!??? Recently obtained documents show that then Bishop Edward Eagan, now retired Cardinal Edward Eagan, "...had failed to aggressively investigate some abuse allegations, reassigned priests he knew had allegations against them and generally downplayed allegations made against many of the priests." Indeed one wonders what God thinks of those who would ignore the children to protect an image!

John McCain is as usual full of political bulls*#t! "McCain 'enjoyed' Palin's book.. 'I enjoyed the book and she and I are dear friends. I talked to her on the phone yesterday.'" And that's the Maverick meets Rogue storyline! "Dear friends," sounds more like political pandering or perhaps a desire for some hanky-panky to me! You know that old saying, "once a philanderer always a womanizer," have to wonder if that's true now!

I am certainly no fan of Coburn or Vitter, or any other Repuglican for that matter, but I must say that I agree with the amendment they've introduced and want attached to the healthcare reform bill. "... If the public option is so great... why won't Congress be using it?... Sens. Tom Coburn and David Vitter.... authored an amendment they want attached to the bill; it would require members of Congress to enroll in whatever version of the public option the final legislation creates, if it includes one." My, my, my another day, another Repuglican suggestion I agree with wholeheartedly! Just think of how much money it could save the American taxpayers if every member of Congress was covered by a non-profit public option? Now that's something to debate!

Hmm, yes bigotry lives on, though it will be denied, if and when you become an aspiring politician. Sarah Palin would have you believe she lasted only one semester of college in Hawaii because, "'Hawaii was a little too perfect,' Palin writes. 'Perpetual sunshine isn't necessarily conducive to serious academics for eighteen-year-old Alaska girls.'" In the end with all due credit and loads of thanks to her dear old Dad, the truth will out -- "...the presence of so many Asians and Pacific Islanders made her uncomfortable: 'They were a minority type thing and it wasn't glamorous, so she came home.'" No glamour in Hawaii, soooo she then went to the University of IDAHO!!! Certainly sounds like a "serious" Palin kind of thing!!!

All the negativity and obstructionism, all the political theories the Repuglicans keep coming up with, are diversions. Repuglicans really don't want the American people to know they agreed with everything George Bush and Dick Cheney conjured up because they were too stupid and too greedy to do otherwise, they don't want the American people to know that each and every Repuglican down to the very last man and/or woman is incapable of multi-tasking, they can't even grasp a single thing if it is or has any logic or benefit for the American people whatsoever. The Repuglicans are dense, they are dumb, and they don't have a single thing to offer the American people but doom and gloom, they are unable to function or perform adequately. The Repuglicans are duds and Repuglicans will always be duds. Vote Democratic if indeed you want a decent life here in America!
