BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

The only thing the GOP seems to have accomplished is NO, NO, and NO some more, with some I OBJECT, I OBJECT, and I OBJECT some more. The Repuglicans only goal in Washington, D.C. is to bring down the President, with no thought whatsoever for the health and well being of the American people, with no thought whatsoever for the good of this country. It is ludicrous that they are getting a salary for sitting on their behinds thinking up their next do-nothing for America and the American people!!! Try surfing the Internet with Repuglican Obstructionism and you'll find thousands of articles outlining their ridiculous antics one after the other and proving they've done nothing they were hired to do! Do you think any of us could get away with that kind of unproductive activity on our jobs? I can see it now, Nurse notified of patient in Rm. X needs help, and the nurse responds with, " I don't like that patient's Dr. so NO, NO, NO I won't help that patient, no matter what is needed!" That nurse would be fired and ethics charges if not criminal charges would be charged because of willful intentional neglect! The Repuglicans are willfully neglecting their duties, they're neglecting the people, and neglecting America!

They're coming out of the woodwork in the darnedest places. Some otherwise uninteresting people will do anything just to get their name in the headlines! "Darrell Issa: People Have Crashed White House Parties Before. For Example, Me... 'I got into the White House when my name wasn't on a slip during the Clinton administration.'" Since the powers that be seem to be leaning towards making White House Gate Crashers a criminal offense, I wonder if the statute of limitations would have any bearing on prosecuting Issa???

"McCain says Afghanistan withdrawal has to be tied to 'success,' forgets he declared victory years ago. -- 'Could I add, it was in Afghanistan, as well, there were many people who predicted that Afghanistan would not be a success. So far, it's a remarkable success.' [CNN, 3/2/05] 'Afghanistan, we don't read about anymore, because it's succeeded.' [Charlie Rose Show, 10/31/05] 'Nobody in Afghanistan threatens the United States of America.' [Hannity & Colmes, 4/10/03]" A classic case of political dementia, it's past time for John McCain to retire, retire before he makes more a fool of himself than he has already!

Talk about over inflated egos and delusions of grandeur, Lou Dobbs has reached the epitome of narcisisstic self-importance. "...Dobbs stated that Fox News did not offer him a job, but that he would 'consider' working there if they did. He added that he would also 'consider being President of the United States' amidst widespread reports that Dobbs is contemplating either launching a 2012 presidential campaign or a senatorial run against Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ)." And if all else fails, Dobbs could "crash the gates at the next White House event" in an effort to get his very own reality show on the boob tube!

Wouldn't you know, the most infamous publicity hounds, Michaele and Tareq Salahai, have refused their first legitimate INVITATION! BUUUUTTTT, "Homeland Security Committee chair Rep. Bernie Thompson (D-MS) said he'd subpoena the Salahis should they decline his invitation to appear." The Salahais really should consider accepting this invite. After all, pictures with Homeland Security Committee members might help their quest for a reality TV program, or maybe they're holding out for another nationally televised court trial by jury with all the press coverage that could generate! Now that's a story mainstream corporate media could get their teeth into for 24/7 non-stop coverage!
