In describing Sarah Palin -- "Tom Rath, a Republican strategist... described it as a unique 'celebrity' factor... 'She is one of these people that comes along every so often that for some reason captures the attention -- if not the imagination -- of the American public'." That "celebrity factor" didn't do a whole lot for John McCain and now that Sarah Palin is out and about on her own, her "celebrity" status isn't doing a whole lot for her. From all the reports, it sounds as though her book belongs in the tabloid section at the grocery store, it's nothing more than mean-spirited fabrications designed to make Sarah appear the victim. It's not hard to imagine the imaginations of some of these randy Repuglicans when they're thinking of Sarah Palin, but in the end, that won't buy anything more than one can get at a "peep show"!

"Palin: Crack Down On 'Iraq' To Prevent Nuclear Iran... Hannity asked what can be done to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons. In her response, Palin seemed to be confused between Iraq and Iran::... 'Cutting off the imports into Iraq, of their refined petroleum products. They're reliant -- 40 to 45 percent of their energy supply is reliant on those imports. We have some control over there'...' we can start implementing some sanctions there and start really shaking things up, and telling Ahmadinejad, nobody is going to stand for this'." Been there done stupid before, we've already had to endure the total incompetence of one who didn't know his rear from a hole in the ground. We don't need another Repuglican president who hasn't got a clue, we don't need a female version of G.W. Bush sitting in the Oval Office making critical decisions for America! This woman makes no sense, she rambles on and on just to hear the sound of her own voice, and her words are as empty as her head, she is as dumb as a post!

"Pat Robertson denounces Islam: 'Not a religion,' but 'a violent political system,' wants adherents treated like Communists." Sounds like Pat Robertson is using some psychological "projection" here! And just in case you need the psychological definition of "projection" -- "Freudian Projection. A defense mechanism in which the individual attributes to other people impulses and traits that he himself has but cannot accept. It is especially likely to occur when the person lacks insight into his own impulses and traits. Attributing one's own undesirable traits to other people or agencies, e.g., an aggressive man accuses other people of being hostile. The individual perceives in others the motive he denies having himself. People attribute their own undesirable traits onto others. An individual who unconsciously recognises his or her aggressive tendencies may then see other people acting in an excessively aggressive way." And just a little by and by for all those out there who so loudly condemn homosexuality and who would deny gay and lesbian Americans their civil rights -- "The externalisation of internal unconscious wishes, desires or emotions on to other people. So, for example, someone who feels subconsciously that they have a powerful latent homosexual drive may not acknowledge this consciously, but it may show in their readiness to suspect others of being homosexual." So much for accusations, Mr. Robertson!
