BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

Just a reminder to let you know what Bush/Cheney and the Repuglicans really did for America. "After the disastrous Bush presidency the GOP had the option to go crazy or rethink. Guess which one they chose... the resultant disaster could hardly have been more comprehensive: a lagging economy (the worst job creation since Hoover), yawning budget deficits (Bush doubled the national debt in eight years); two unfinished wars, costing thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars -- one completely unnecessary, the other so forgetfully prosecuted that Gen. Stanley McChrystal warns the United States and NATO could yet lose it." And it didn't stop there -- "...if Pakistani terrorists had done to New Orleans what Bush's hapless FEMA appointees did after Katrina, he'd have invaded Iran. Staffing regulatory agencies with See-No-Evil disciples of Ayn Rand made them feckless spectators of the banking crisis that damn near destroyed the nation's financial system, dragging the economy into the deepest recession since (again) Herbert Hoover." All this in 8+years, does anyone really want to elect another "regular guy" Repuglican, does anyone really want crazy again, does anyone really want a repeat performance!

"For doctor, the Senate is a bitter pill... there's a darker side of the story, something that Coburn,... confesses is his less honorable side. He's a member of the United States Senate. 'I would fire us all,' Coburn says, blasting Congress, as he does every chance he gets, as a place populated by people who don't do a whole lot to make the country a better place. 'I don't get my identity from being a senator,' said Coburn, 61, a Republican." You, Senator Doctor Coburn are one of those people who "populate that place called the Congress"! Funny how those Freudian slips can come back to bite you in the behind -- the United States Congress isn't a "gulag," no one's holding Senator Doctor Coburn against his will, he can resign, which, come to think of it, would make this country "a better place" indeed!!!

"McCain Aides: Palin Book 'Total Fiction,' McCain 'A Bit Disappointed By It" Who knew that "Rogue" actually means "somebody dishonest an unscrupulous or dishonest person, especially somebody who is also likable, but likely to cause trouble." It's not really a cutesy title for a ditzy woman?! Who knew Rogue is Repuglican code for liar! We're beginning to find out more than anyone ever wanted to know about the newest Repuglican idol, Sarah Palin? What's really with Repuglicans, why do they continue to vote for the least capable person to do the job they are elected to do??? Why are Repuglicans so attracted to liars, opportunists, and incompetent jerks, what is it about these crazy people that makes Repuglicans continue repeating the same bad mistake over and over again???

"Next week, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) will convene the Homeland Security Committee to find out if someone in the Army or FBI dropped the ball on Hasan." Joe Lieberman supported everything Bush/Cheney did, including an unnecessary illegal war in Iraq. Do you really think he can conduct an open honest investigation on anything? Do you really believe him competent, is he looking for the truth or is he looking out for himself! My money's on Lieberman's own self interests -- he likes to pontificate about the moral high ground, but seldom travels that road himself!

"O'Reilly Asks Dobbs: 'Barack Obama - Is He The Devil?" Lou Dobbs, you haven't been politically correct at CNN so what's with the hesitation now??? Why did you not answer Bill O'Reilly's question with a simple yes or no?? Are you hedging for a reason, are you being coy, are you now interviewing for, a try it before you buy it, "semi regular basis" slot at FOX???
