Yes, Truman did order the two atomic bombs, and perhaps after experiencing the death and destruction caused by that horror, he came to believe, war could be won without violent means, thus the birth of the "cold war"! Apparently Eisenhower and many Presidents who came after were also influenced by the horror caused by those atomic bombs, because most continued the cold-war policies Truman put in place!

Actually this is what the Repuglicans are aspiring to right here in America-- "...the state is behaving like a private company. Instead of focusing on schools, infrastructure, and the needs of its people," to include healthcare here at home! It's known as the Repuglican model for governance, Corporate America without the oil, just Repuglicans looking to line their pockets! Ah yes this is the wildest dream of today's Repuglican leadership -- "Nations rich in natural resources, making money hand over fist exploiting these resources, leave their own people behind to fend for themselves." Sadly, they almost succeeded during the Bush/Cheney years, don't give them another opportunity to turn America into just another Third World Country, where the rich get richer and the poor just plain die! And frankly, the Repuglicans do not have the brains to realize America's most important resource is its people!

"Shared Services Agreement." HA and HA again, this is just a way to guarantee the Conservative Corporate message and to control information! Controlling information is why "news stations are struggling" today! Already we are hearing the same stories over and over again on all the stations, Fox News puts out a message, they want the world to hear whether it's true or not true, and then each and every other broadcast news picks it up and runs with it! The basis for this kind of messaging is -- if you hear it often enough whether it's accurate or not, you will begin to believe its authenticity! "The airways belong to the people" is just an illusion manufactured to give a false sense of security, because the Corporate owned media have bought and paid for every tidbit the American people are subjected too! The only saving grace for the people in general is the Internet, because in truth, "you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you damn sure "can't fool all the people all the time"!

If you think the Ft. Hood investigation will be an in depth and forthcoming depiction of the truth, think again. Already the Repuglicans are attempting to muddy the waters with fictitious accounts of what did or did not happen! "Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) is blasting President Obama for withholding from the Congressional intelligence committees information on the Fort Hood killings suspect, while at the same time acknowledging the leaders of those panels -- including Hoekstra himself -- have indeed been briefed on Nidal Malik Hasan." Just like a dumb Repuglican to contradict himself! What loony bin did these guys crawl out of, what crazy place produced so many lunatics??? In an attempt to "bring down the President," the Repuglicans are actually imploding themselves, hmm "what goes around comes around," and the Repuglican meanness just may be coming back around!
