BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

How can anyone believe this will be a "presumed innocent until proven guilty" investigation with Joe Lieberman at the helm??? Already Lieberman has concluded, "'It's premature to reach conclusions about what motivated Hasan,' Lieberman said on 'Fox News Sunday'... 'But it's clear that he was, one, under personal stress and, two, if the reports that we're receiving of various statements he made, acts he took, are valid, he had turned to Islamist extremism.'" And again sucking up to "Fox News" and his Repuglican buddies in their efforts to "bring down the President," Lieberman also said, "if the shootings were fueled by such viewpoints it was the worst act of terrorism in America since the attacks of September 11, 2001." After hearing those statements, where is the objectivity, where is the possible culpability of the Army's leadership in allowing this whole incident to occur by not heeding a potential disaster in the first place??? Obviously there were some very visible warning signs! And just why is "love those wars" Lieberman in charge of an investigation????

"Where there's smoke there's fire," or so we've been told! If General George Casey, Army Chief of Staff, is worried about a "backlash against Muslim soldiers" there must be good reason! Bigotry still exists in America and can be fueled by those looking to inflame hatred! It can also be found in the most unlikely places. Like the "woods in Kentucky," or the "Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC" or "a combat stress center in Baghdad," or even in the Halls of Congress by men and women attempting to gain political points!!! Who can forget, "Bachmann: 'I Want People…Armed And Dangerous On This Issue' Of Cap And Trade " WAR IS HELL and there has to be a better way to resolve differences! We cannot survive the politically crazy environment introduced by the Repuglican Party, we cannot survive chaos and disaster!

In an effort to keep the Repuglican ILLUSION alive, "King Calls For Tea Party II Tomorrow At The Capitol"! The Repuglicans down to the last man and woman have inflated the numbers of these corporate organized events, they've lied about "grassroots efforts" and motivation, they've cheated the people with false information and kept very quiet about the campaign monies they've received from the healthcare insurance lobbyists. If one follows the money, one can rightly see that the Repuglican hearts and minds are with their pocketbooks and not the American people!

"... it's a good time to lay out what we do and don't know about the Fort Hood shooting case and the Army psychiatrist at the center of it." Hate is not limited to foreign invaders, today's hatred is fueled on a daily basis with the lies that have been created in an effort to "bring down a President" and it has spilled over to include the racists and the bigots, the bullies and the ne'er do wells, the right-wing politicians, and radical religious extremists right here in America. It is a sad day indeed when every principle that America was founded upon is annihilated by those on the right who seek to denigrate others for monetary reasons as well as a false ideology! If the "Muslim Brotherhood and Major Hasan are guilty of crimes against America" then for God's sake let the law take care of it, let the courts find them innocent or guilty. The court of public opinion in today's America is not the place for such dire circumstance and conclusion! Remembering Congressman Gary Condit and what the conservatives and the conservative mainstream corporate media did to him and his career!
