BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

To all those Constitutional "strict constructionists" I refer you to the 14th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America -- in part it says -- "Section. 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." There is no "gay" exception included in this Amendment! The way it's written, "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States." Sounds like the State of Maine has broken the law of the land!

Strangely funny when a group of people or should it be said politicians create their own "brand" of hell! "The conservative coup in upstate New York did much more than lay bare the power of conservative activists: It exposed how little control GOP officials hold over this surging and formidable political movement." Repuglicans are now finding out once the hate they get going begins, it can't be stopped! The Repuglicans have created their own demise and somehow the radical right wing religious conservatives have counted on it from the very beginning of their political genesis!

"....er, obnoxious rhetoric from the right-wing that the Senate would be nothing but jokes with Franken in the chamber" Turns out the jokes on the Repuglicans -- Al Franken knows what he's doing, "Sen. Franken wasn't loud in his quest. He put forward a simple amendment that only made the GOP look foolish if they voted against it, and 30 of them did so eagerly." So I say to the Repuglicans, who's the FOOL now!

He's baaaccckk! What is it about Repuglican "bad pennies," they always have a way of turning up when there's a lie to be told, or a Democrat to cheat! I am reminded of that old adage, "ugly is as ugly does" whenever and wherever Fund appears! Remembering John Fund during the Clinton years, every time you turned around his face was seen on the boob-tube spouting every manner of lie he could conjure up and now the serial media hound is back in full lying form, on, of all people, why am I not surprised, the Glenn Beck Show (these two deserve each other)! "Fund fabricates evidence of voter fraud in NJ"
