BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"Republican Mississippi Rep. Gregg Harper.... We hunt liberal, tree-hugging Democrats, although it does seem like a waste of good ammunition.... Harper spokesman Adam Buckalew told me <Anne Shroeder Mullins> to lighten up.... 'It's supposed to be fun...It's having a good time'" And then there's this, "a potential GOP opponent of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) squeezed off a few rounds at a paper target with the initials 'CWS' scrawled on it. He apologized, saying it was inappropriate." Damn straight it was "inappropriate," it was a terroristic threat! What rock did these crazies crawl out from under, since when has hunting your opponents down and killing them become "fun" and "having a good time"??? Are the Repuglicans actually hoping to turn America into another Darfur??? Do the Repuglicans really want to get rid of the opposition by inciting murder!!! This has got to stop -- threats of murdering a politician is a form of terrorism and should be treated as such, no matter who is making the threat, these guys should be "frogmarched in handcuffs" off to prison posthaste for inciting murder and for treason! This is not "fun," it is not "having a good time," if the tables were turned, these same lunatics would be hollering loud and clear for the law and prosecution!!! P.S. "I'm sorry" for a pseudo act of shooting a woman, Representative Debbie Wasserman (D-FL), does not absolve such disgusting acts of violence!

"Former Vice President Dick Cheney says Obama must do 'what it takes to win' in Afghanistan" "The world would be a better place" if only Dick Cheney would button his lip and go back to that undisclosed location forever! Cheney's advice, his actions and his inactions are what got America into the mess we're in today! Cheney is just another Repuglican chicken-hawk raving lunatic!! Ever notice how Repuglicans are so quick to send someone else off to fight their wars??? There must be some underlying sadistic tendencies in the Repuglican persona, they're always hollering for a war, somewhere, anywhere, that they won't go in person to fight, but they are certainly happy to sit back and watch! While I'm at it, why didn't the Dick stay in Afghanistan and finish the fight 8 years ago, why did he leave and invade Iraq, a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, but damn sure had a hell of a lot of oil for Halliburton that would ensure his luxurious retirement! Cheney's mouth and his advice are just disgusting diversions for mainstream corporate media to hype while the real news goes untold!

"Lou Dobbs Describes Meatless Mondays In Schools As 'A Political Storm In The Making'" Yeah like healthy eating is going to start WWIII! Looking at the size of his girth, it wouldn't hurt for him to take a little advice from the Baltimore City School District. For God's sake wake up America! Actually Lou Dobbs is a mediocre blow-hard commentator trying his best to become a "political storm"! He's backing all the wrong causes these days, "teabaggers," the "birthers," and any cockamamie Repuglican out there carrying a sign denigrating the current President of the United States of America. Dobbs will support any lamebrained insane bunch of right-wing nuts out there seeking publicity even those who bring guns to a political rally! Let's hope his reasons are an attempt to boost his ratings, anything else could be a nefarious underlying dark personal opinion that would not be proper for an anchor on a 24/7 news channel. Then again, maybe it's all an audition for a job over at FOX!

Looks and sounds like assault to me -- and if no man is truly above the law, then John Cornyn should be indicted and prosecuted. Washington D.C. ain't Texas and surely one would hope Cornyn won't get the same kid gloves treatment he gets in Texas! Call the police, press charges, and send John Cornyn's behind to jail where he belongs! Unlawful touching constitutes a tort! "Simple Assault: An unlawful touching of another person. A typical example of this offense occurs during a barfight or conflict on the sidewalk where one person punches, slaps or kicks another. These cases are very defensible and should be litigated fully. Eyewitnesses are usually lined up with either the complaining party or the defense so that manipulation of testimony is very common." Don't let Cornyn get away with assault!
