This is the ultimate in disgusting Repuglican hypocrisy -- "Rep. Phil Gingrey blasted the federal stimulus program before voting against it in February, predicting its chances of success were 'slim and none' and that it would worsen the national debt. But that didn't stop the Republican from presenting an oversized check for $625,000 in federal stimulus funds to Cedartown officials this month for new downtown sidewalks, landscaping and other streetscape improvements. A photo of him holding the check with Cedartown officials appeared on the front page of The Cedartown Standard newspaper Oct. 8. The check was signed 'Uncle Sam.'"

"…who does Limbaugh blame for the controversy? 'This is not about the NFL, it's not about the St. Louis Rams, it's not about me,' Limbaugh said. 'This is about the ongoing effort by the left in this country, wherever you find them, in the media, the Democrat Party, or wherever, to destroy conservatism, to prevent the mainstreaming of anyone who is prominent as a conservative." Oh yes it is about you Rush Limbaugh and all the hate you spew day in and day out, and if conservatism is destroyed along with you, well then, "the world will be a better place," the whole world, for all those who believe in "thinking of your fellow man and putting love in your heart" instead of hate!

"HOWARD KURTZ, HOST, CNN's "RELIABLE SOURCES" (via telephone):...once we found out that the kid had never been on board, then I see, you know, I see the psychologist coming out and the experts, the hot air experts both literally and figuratively, and we decide we'll just pound this story to death and we're going to put this family on TV. We don't care if the kid keeps throwing up. We are going to exploit the story." "Exploit the story," "don't care if the kid keeps throwing up" no "innocent until proven guilty," no "indictment," no "trial by your peers," mainstream corporate media all over this story like stink on a pile, whether it's true or not, get out there and take advantage of a story, conviction via publicity! How responsible are those actions??? I seem to remember how they "exploited" and ruined Gary Condit's reputation with insinuation and innuendo regarding the murder of Chandra Levy, and later when all was said and done Representative Condit was innocent! Did anyone hear mainstream corporate media apologize to Mr. Condit??? There wasn't even a "howdyado, we're sorry we ruined your career, we're sorry we made life hell for you, not a single solitary thing to assume responsibility for that which the media did to an innocent Gary Condit! Mainstream corporate media is no longer responsible news, it can no longer be trusted, it's just plain "gotcha TV"!

"SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, R-ARIZ.: I do not. And I think the great danger now is not an American pullout; I think the great danger now is a half-measure, sort of a -- you know, try to please all ends of the political spectrum." Well now John McCain knows all about "half-measures and trying to please all ends of the political spectrum," after all he picked Sarah Palin to be his running mate and together they lost the election!!! McCain's advice isn't worth a tinkers damn in the grand scheme of things, he's a has been, a washed up politician who made a whole lot of wrong-headed decisions and he should have retired a long long time ago! And if CNN keeps using his opinion analysis, they too will become has beens, a washed up news organization without any credibility whatsoever! Already the public sees CNN as a FOXNEWS wannabee!

Here we have CNN presenting, "State Of The Union With John King" and it's a puffed up John King play-acting like he's the President!!! Sorry John but it's going to take more than a mediocre TV program to make presidential material out of you! Your reporting is so Repuglican biased and conservative bent, you and CNN are beginning to look like the third arm of the Repuglican Party!
