Whine, Whine, Whine, and so the lies begin -- "SEN. ORRIN HATCH (R), UTAH: ...Now comes the hard part. Because they're going to try to merge it with the health committee bill which is a totally partisan, democratic bill. COLLINS: Why totally partisan democratic? HATCH: Well, they just -- they didn't ask for any Republican advice or any republican help. And every republican amendment that came up was voted down on a party line vote, 13-10. COLLINS: So if, in fact, you had been asked according to how you say this happened, what would you have said? What would be the suggestion from the Republican Party? HATCH: Well, I think, you know, we're willing to work on something that would really work.... HATCH: I wish we could work with our colleagues. I wish we could get together. I wish we could do a bipartisan bill. I might add, one person is not bipartisan. You can call it that, but it really isn't. Although I do deeply respect that one person." And so it's another self-proclaimed Christian politician who will continue to tell the same bald-faced lies over and over again!

"..... Bill O'Reilly claims, 'There was no cheerleading of President Bush on this network'" What can I say??? To borrow a few words from the newest Senator from Minnesota, one wiser than me, Al Franken -- "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right"!

"...a Senate Finance bill that relies on private coverage with no new government plan -- could price out some 17 million Americans. And the insurance industry may have unwittingly helped the case for public coverage with a report over the weekend asserting the Finance bill would raise premiums for everyone..." "Does the sun rise in the east? Is the Pope Catholic? Does a bear s#*t in the woods"??? Of course private insurance premiums are going to go up, they've gone over the top for the past several years! A friend belonged to a small business co-op for the past 6 years, last year his premiums for the lowest HMO on the totem pole were over $900/monthly with a $35 co-pay for a Dr. visit! He never had an illness or had the need to use the insurance but the premiums continued to increase each and every year. The greed in this country is viral, it's a virus without a cure, unless and until government comes up with the antidote! For those who think market competition is the answer, wake up, in the Middle East, it's an Oil cartel that controls the price of oil, in America it's an Insurance cartel that controls insurance premiums!!! And that is how competition without regulation in a Democracy fails the people! Oh, and by the way we'll take all the help we can get for the public option, "unwitting" or not!

Now that they've "Ooops" been caught, CNN has promised "full disclosure" that one of their "got a dog in that race" expert analysts "has ties to the insurance industry"! "CNN Admits That On-Air Commentator Has Ties To Insurance Industry, Promises Full Disclosure... well-known GOP consultant Alex Castellanos, is best known for producing the racially-charged "Hands" ad, has repeatedly appeared on the network attacking Dem health care plans and the public option, which is strongly opposed by AHIP." This just goes to prove that Repuglican conservatives have indeed infiltrated every aspect of government and society and they intend to milk every dollar they can get from every dirty deal they can create in every nook and cranny they can find!
