BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE



My grandmother always said, "ugly on the inside, ugly on the outside" and that certainly holds true whenever the TV camera panned over to the right side of the aisle during the President's speech last night. We saw ugly personified, and it wasn't just the captain of incivility Joe Wilson (R-SC), it was the whole lot of them, all the Repuglicans! The Repuglican faces, the scowls reflected nothing but negative, it reminded me of all the reasons the American people have rejected the Repuglicans, the American people rejected the Repuglican "my way or the highway" of doing the people's business! Rude and crude can also be added to the unacceptable Repuglican behavior, negativity is a constant for the Repuglicans and it doesn't do a thing for the good of the Country!!!

The right-wing radicals are either deliberately lying or they're too stupid to know what they're talking about -- "MISREPRESENTING NON-CZARS AS 'CZARS': One of the smear campaign's most-used tactics is misrepresenting Senate-confirmed positions as 'czars' in the Obama Administration. Right-wing pundit Sean Hannity exploded in an angry rant a couple of months ago, referring to Obama Administration czars as a 'select group of unvetted, unconfirmed individuals who are now at the helm of a shadow government right here in the U.S.' He cited John Holdren, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, as an example of one of these individuals, even though Holdren 'was indeed confirmed by the U.S. Senate.' Right-wing blogger Michelle Malkin has also deceptively referred to Holdren as the 'science czar.' In July, Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) wrote an op-ed ripping Obama's 'czars,' even though three of the people he cited had been confirmed by the Senate." Stupid, thy name is Repuglican! Liar, thy name is also Repuglican!

It looks like we're headed for a corporate controlled country -- a corporate controlled government, where the people are no longer even a hint of consideration! If you think it's bad now, just wait until the Repuglican dominated SCOTUS hands this country over to the corporations.

It is mind-boggling that mainstream corporate media continues to give the liars and the ne'er do well Repuglicans airtime. The media continues to let the lies pass even when it's been proven that the Repuglicans are lying! Though this is "A Prediction For November" made in jest, given today's political climate, it just might be closer to the truth than we think!

But former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin raises their specter again in an op-ed piece published in the Wall Street Journal today," IGNORANCE, thy name is Palin! This woman sullies the female gender with her obsessive need for publicity!!!
