BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

To all those seniors who have been saying "hands off my Medicare," take a long look at what the Repuglicans really want to do to your Medicare -- "(HardBall) Tom DeLay: I Want To Privatize Medicare." Actually he said he "wants to privatize Medicare, Medicaid, and S-chip" and it's not just Tom DeLay, it's the entire Repuglican Party. By rejecting healthcare reform, you are putting your Medicare in the hands of those who really want to do away with Medicare. "Republicans: Let's Privatize Medicare! The goal is to phase out Medicare over time..." By the by, the Repuglicans also want to "privatize your Social Security"! "The day Social Security is privatized is the day you say good-bye to a check." Be careful of Repuglicans in patriot's clothing, they're just wolves waiting to devour everything good in America!

It takes two parties for bipartisanship and, from the very beginning, the Repuglicans plotted and planned to be the Party of NO to healthcare reform! Repuglicans only want the "free market" 48 million Americans uninsured status quo and they'll do anything to kill the bill! "...Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) candidly explained how his party would try to deceive the public during the coming health care debate.... Kyl boasts that he and his colleagues will use the "hollow buzzwords" prescribed by GOP language consultant Frank Luntz" Don't look for bipartisanship from the Repuglicans -- it's necessary for the Democrats to stand up and pass the bill if there is to be healthcare reform. Leave the Repuglicans behind in the psychological fog they've created!

The question -- "Why hasn't stimulus package produced more jobs?" Well now, it took George Bush 8 years to annihilate the American economy, President Obama has been in office 6 months, now I know President Obama is the better man but I do think it may take him a little longer to undo the damage Bush did!

"Canada flies NATO flag in arctic showdown" Kinda sorta makes one wonder if Alaska's former Governor, Ms. Palin, actually sees Canada and not Russia from her house! Friendly allies certainly don't make for sensational copy when a media hog is desperately trying to grab the headlines!

Enough already, for God's sake, just pass the bill!
