BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"According to a new WSJ/NBC poll, 'support for President Barack Obama's health-care effort has declined over the past five weeks, particularly among those who already have insurance.' Among those with private insurance, the proportion calling the plan a bad idea rose to 47 percent from 37 percent." There comes a time when stubborn people get exactly what they deserve, but by all that's holy, the rest of us don't want them taking us down too. Obviously when health insurance costs more than groceries and rent put together, the insurance is out of whack, obviously America has long needed reform. For God's sake don't let this opportunity for healthcare reform pass us by!

The Repuglicans have legal blackmail down to a tee -- do they really think the public won't notice they're still the narcissistic power hungry dirty politicians they've always been! "In a statement released yesterday, Sen. Mike Enzi (R-WY) said in order to get a bipartisan bill, Democrats have to agree to his demands."

After all these years, you'd think the Repuglicans would change their tactics -- "FEARMONGERING NEVER CHANGES: Conservatives 'bitterly opposed' efforts to provide elderly Americans with access to health care. Ronald Reagan argued in 1961 that if Medicare wasn't stopped, 'one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it once was like in America when men were free.' George H.W. Bush called the plan 'socialized medicine,' and Barry Goldwater asked, '[h]aving given our pensioners their medical care in kind... why not a ration of cigarettes for those who smoke and of beer for those who drink?'" Obstructionism is NOT a benefit! Have to wonder exactly what have the Repuglicans ever done that benefitted the American people?????

Don't you just love it when the Repuglicans start eating their own! "Hutchison Campaign Site Contains Hidden Phrase, 'Rick Perry Gay'" Mean and nasty is part of the Repuglican DNA, they can't help themselves hateful comes naturally!

As I read and hear more and more about the "blue dog" Democrats, I am reminded that Zell Miller also classified himself as a "blue dog" Democrat, and we all know Zell was really a Benedict Arnold Repuglican! What's that about the conservatives plan to infiltrate every aspect of American government and American society, it looks like they've even managed to infiltrate the Democratic Party all dressed up in blue!
