BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"...what are the objections of the Blue Dogs?... they talk a lot about fiscal responsibility, which basically boils down to worrying about the cost of those subsidies... it's tempting to stop right there, and cry foul..... where were those concerns about fiscal responsibility back in 2001, when most conservative Democrats voted enthusiastically for that year's big Bush tax cut -- a tax cut that added $1.35 trillion to the deficit?" "Blue Dogs" and/or otherwise, it is the ultimate hypocrisy when Representatives and Senators of the United States of America, those who have the very best in healthcare insurance, have the audacity to deny the American people!

Adding insult to injury the "Blue Dog" Democrats -- "....even as they complain about the plan's cost, the Blue Dogs are making demands that would greatly increase that cost." How's that for principles? Makes one wonder if these guys are interviewing for a job in the near future as a lobbyist!

If indeed you're wondering why the Repuglicans keep repeating that phrase -- "...our system provides 'the best care in the world' - - a position enunciated in Congress and on panels by members of the 'GOP doctor caucus' who dominate the debate." It's because "they" do have the best care in the world, because Repuglicans have government provided insurance that pays for their healthcare! The irony in all this is it's the American taxpayer who actually pays for the Repuglican's healthcare insurance!

It takes a modicum of common sense to realize that Sarah Palin makes no sense whatsoever in her garbled, confabulated manner of speaking. Have to wonder who will be her "ghost writer" for the upcoming book???
