BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"'Let me tell you something,' Obama said. 'I'm from Chicago. I don't break.'" Hmm, given the fact President Obama has made it to being elected the first black President of the United States of America, it seems only logical to concur with the fact. President Obama doesn't "break" -- and it's going to take more than a snide malicious remark from some SC Senator that no one, until now, has ever heard of outside of SC to "break" the President. Nothing has changed on the Repuglican side of the aisle; they're still a bunch of negative nasty back-biting dirty politicians who are NOT interested in the American people. Repuglicans are only interested in power and greed. Remembering how the Repuglicans did their very best to "break" Bill Clinton, it's obvious the Repuglicans haven't yet learned the lesson that lies and hateful don't work!

As I listen to all the ins and outs, the dos and don'ts, the ohhhhs and ahhhs, the errrrs and more errrs over President Obama's health care reform plan, I am struck with the knowledge that it wasn't that long ago (sometime in the mid to late '70's) most hospitals were "not for profit" and provided good quality care at reasonable cost -- but then along came a group of doctors claiming they could provide better quality health care at cheaper prices and we all know what that got us -- healthcare became a business, the bottom line was profits not healthcare, and 48 million people uninsured!

"Hagee criticized the United States and voiced support for 'Israel's sovereign right to grow and develop the settlements.'..." Sounds wonderful, all this sweetness and light, but ohhh what will it be when the Israelis find out the Christians want them to convert, what will it be when the Israelis find out the "Christians" are looking for Armeggedon and the Rapture. Oh what games are being played, what deceptions are taking place? "Evangelical Christians tend to support Israel because they believe that biblical prophecy links Israel’s survival with the second coming of Jesus. According to their reading of the Book of Revelation, when their Messiah returns, believers will be 'raptured' to heaven, leaving Jews and others to choose between following Christ or eternal damnation." How's that for friendship -- "eternal damnation"!

This is one story that proves nothing, no thing is more important to the hypocritical Repuglicans than MONEY!!! It's money that makes the Repuglican world go round. Nothing was more important to state Senator Paul Stanley than his money, not his reputation, not sparing his family from the shame of it all, not even the "values" he so often spoke out about, nothing was more important than saving the $10,000 blackmail money! And another randy Repuglican bites the dust.
