BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE
For God's sake people, wake up to reality, in today's world, you are limited to the doctors on the list of your particular health care insurance policy, bureaucrats make decisions about your healthcare on a daily basis all over America, care is being denied by insurance company clerks based on "previously existing conditions" and if you really think a government run health care single payer insurance would deny your health care -- take a long look at Medicare, I don't know of anyone denied care by Medicare. Ever since healthcare became a business and the bottom line was profit, Americans have been paying dearly for healthcare and Americans have not gotten the care they should be getting. Don't let us lose this time around. Don't let people have to make decisions about whether they can get the medical care they need or eat for a week. The Just Say No crowd was all over the boob-tube yesterday saying NO, NO, NO because theirs is not to care about healthcare for the American people, theirs is to make sure the healthcare business continues a profitable bottom line!

Dennis Miller, no longer funny, has joined with the rest of the opportunists trying to stay relevant in order to become gazillionaires! Memo to Miller. Kristol, and the rest of the world -- it will be a cold day in hell when Repuglicans are "progressive"!

After watching Jeff Sessions in the Judge Sotomayor confirmation hearings, it became obvious why he lost his bid for a federal judgeship in 1986. Though he may be a bit, just a bit, more subtle these days, his racist bias is still obvious, he can't hide the bigotry that is the very fabric of his makeup.

Question -- "What would Pat Buchanan have to say to get himself fired from MSNBC?" Answer -- Something NICE!

Much has been said for Walter Cronkite these last few days, and those who said he was "the most trusted man in America" certainly got it right, he was. We will miss him and the way he reported the news. It was interesting when one of his collegues said "Walter would not report a story unless and until they could get a second confirmation." Contrast that with today's methods of reporting rumors, scandals, lies, and bias. Contrast that with the infotainment delievered on a daily basis 24/7! Contrast that with the fact that we get more accurate news from The Daily Show's fake news than from the glorified news anchors on mainstream corporate media. Yes we will miss Mr. Walter Cronkite, a man of integrity, "the most trusted man in America"!
