BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"Bush's Secret Spy Programs": Ironic that the Repuglicans who supported everything Bush did during his reign, are now hell bent for leather on Judicial appointments to the Supreme Court who must follow the Constitution to the Nth degree. Strange that when Bush's unprecedented massive surveillance activities stretched beyond the warantless wiretapping that had previously revealed spying on Americans, these same Repuglicans were mum without a word to say, nothing from them about Constitutional law or private interpretation of the Constitution, nothing from them about turning the Constitution upside down, nothing at all about the importance of following the Constitution. They were as happy as pigs in a pile of dung as Bush/Cheney went about revamping the Constitution and the law to allow them to spy on Americans one and all.

My grandmother used to say, "vanity thy name is man" and it couldn't be more relevant than it is today -- the Repuglican male ego has been bruised and they have their boxers in a knot because "a Latina woman is wiser" than the whole lot of Repuglican males! Their egos "can't stand the truth" and so they go about tearing her down piece by piece, misrepresentation by misrepresentation. It's business as usual for the Repuglicans, slander the opponent in order to try and appear superior. It'll never happen, won't work, the Repuglicans have become so predictable that it makes them boring white males.

"Liz Cheney Open to Running for Office": I can see it now a Palin/Cheney or a Cheney/Palin 3rd Party ticket come the next election!
