BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"It appears that the Republican Party leadership in the Congress has made a decision that they want to deny President Obama success, which means, in my mind, they are rooting against the country, as well," Henry Waxman always uncovers the reality in politics for the benefit of America and the American people! Representative Waxman is a true Statesman and a true Patriot! With the Repuglican Leadership we find in today's Congress, a leadership doing their very best to undermine President Obama's success and ultimately an American success, America needs as many Henry Waxmans as we can get!

"..the onetime Alaska commander-in-chief signaled that if she succeeded in a presidential run, life would get easier. I think on a national level your department of law there in the White House would look at this, the things we have been charged with, and automatically throw them out, not make somebody hire their own personal attorney to get out there and fight." Now that's a Sarah Palin reason for running for President of the United States of America -- to avoid "lawsuits"! She wants to become President so she can avoid lawsuits. Where does the Repuglican Party find these whacky tacky people? It's this kind of thinking that we had to endure for 8 long long years, it's this kind of thinking that got us in the hole we're in today, it's this kind of thinking that sinks entire countries!

Oh those Repuglicans, their generosity is unsurpassed, they're the gift that keeps on giving, figuratively and literally! "Ensign's parents paid the Hamptons $96,000 after the 51-year-old senator told his Mom and Dad about the affair."

"Palin, in my view, is the most exciting Republican figure to emerge in decades. She mesmerizes crowds in a way that no other Republican leader can come close to matching. She has what can't be taught -- real charisma." What is it about Repuglicans, how is it they mistake a lack of intelligence for "charisma"? Why do they insist on glorifying dumb and dumber as potential leadership candidates? Why do they always come to the aid of the least intelligent in their party? 8 years of George W. Bush should have been enough of stupid!

"Coleman's favorable rating is only 38%, with 52% viewing him unfavorably." Obviously, Norm Coleman just doesn't know when to quit! Should have, could have said a long time ago, "I'm not a quitter, but I quit because fightin' won't get me anywhere, and it will be better for Minnesota."

Repuglican pundits are the real "slick willies" in this world -- in discussing Senator Ensign's transgressions and subsequent hush money payoff---Alex Castellanos on CNN tried to change the subject and absolve any wrong doing on his side of the aisle while still casting blame on the Democrats, came up with this confabulated pile of wind "… these are -- these are failings of a man and not of a -- of a philosophy. With James, I know he'd rather have a Democratic Party or both parties that are silent about right and wrong and a valueless society. But, frankly, precisely because we all fail, because we all make mistakes, it's good to have standards and leaders who will stand up and try to establish them. Certainly the Democratic Party has no problem trying to enforce its values. For example, on education. It says our kids should go to a government-run school and parents shouldn't have the right to choose. The Democrats don't seem to have any kind of problem legislating their values." How in God's name has a Repuglican Senator's adultery and hush money have anything to do with a government run school? All Repuglicans are nothing but a bunch of radical right-wing nuts! It's also hilarious that these guys, these Repuglicans have their boxers in a knot over the "right to choose" when they're insanely, adamantly against a woman's right to choose!
