BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

In answer to that most insensitive, inappropriate, intolerable, inane question and the inaccurate, loathsome, offensive statement by Rep. Peter King (R-NY) that followed regarding the press coverage of Michael Jackson's death and the celebration of his life, a question that could only have come from a man with the mind and heart of a terrorist -- the press covered Michael Jackson's life and death, because over one billion, that's over one BILLION people were grieving and mourning, because over one billion people cared, because Michael Jackson had the support of people worldwide!

Oh what tangled webs those randy evangelical Repuglicans weave -- "Hampton also said that Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) urged Ensign to end the liaison and to sweep it under the rug,... Hampton and Ensign were bonded by their conservative evangelical faith. Hampton said he reached out to intermediaries involved in a Christian fellowship home in Washington, D.C., where Ensign and several other powerful Washington figures live. The group, including Coburn, a well-known conservative, confronted Ensign and suggested that the Hamptons needed to be given financial assistance -- in the millions of dollars -- to pay off their $1 million-plus mortgage and move them to a new life away from Ensign." Lesson to be learned here, extra-marital affairs can be expensive.

For all people who are really concerned about the lives of our children and our grandchildren, who really care about life over money, BEWARE the SCOTUS is making sure this planet will not survive for our children and grandchildren, they favor the bottom line more than life itself! We need reform and change in the makeup of the Supreme Court if indeed we want to continue to live in a country "of the people by the people and for the people."

To answer the question, "What the hell is going on with Republican politics lately?" asked by the revered Mr. William Pitt -- REPUGLICANS, sir, REPUGLICANS! "This is the GOP of the 21st century. You'd think it couldn't get any worse, but if Palin, Sanford, Haggard, McCain, DeLay, Foley, Cunningham, Ney, Abramoff, Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Bush and Cheney have taught us anything, it is that we can never assume the bottom of the GOP barrel has been reached. The Republicans will really have to outdo themselves to top this most recent disaster, but nobody should doubt they have it in them."

"Huckabee: Obama Needs To Stop Blaming Bush Because Bush Didn't Complain About Inheriting Clinton's Economy" My God, are Repuglicans really that stupid, or do ministers turned politicians believe it's OK to lie??? Does Huckabee really think the end justifies the means and thus whatever sins he commits to get there are already forgiven? Does he not know that -- "Instead of stimulating the economy as intended, Bush's tax policy -- largely huge tax cuts for the upper income brackets -- has had a long-term detrimental impact... 'recovery' under the Bush administration has basically been an extended recession for the majority of working people..."

Don't mind a bit when the very biased FOX NEWS wants to unload their wayward Repuglicans, but in the process don't try and make these Repuglican transgressors into Democrats! That practice is neither fair nor balanced!

"Panetta Admits CIA Misled Congress on 'Significant Actions'" Pelosi is no "quitter" and sooner or later the truth comes out! Vindication for Nancy Pelosi -- oh so sweet!
