BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"The Washington Post quoted a conservative intellectual lamenting that Obama 'seems unwilling to aggressively project American global power. ... This would be ... John Mc-Cain."  President Obama doesn't need to "aggressively project American global power", the whole world knows America is powerful.  And "conservative intellectual", I don't think so, there are no intellectual conservatives!  John McCain's time has come and GONE, after all, he chose Sarah Palin as a running mate, that alone should tell us something about his cognitive powers!  His advice is no longer relevant and has become detrimental to the health and well being of others!  It's time for him to retire, if those in positions of endangerment to other people have a pre-set retirement age then certainly Senators, Congressmen and women, those in powerful law making positions that affect us all, should be included in that pre-set retirement age!

“God, Guns, Gospel and Geometry ... Not every Christian denomination is pacifist." So says Pastor Ken Pagano of the New Bethel Church.   Whatever happened to "turn the other cheek"????  Somehow Repuglicans to include Repuglican "pastors" have replaced Biblical teachings for their own aggressions!  No wonder the world is so screwed up!

"Adultery is illegal in South Carolina, punishable by up to a year in jail, but let's write that off as a technicality." "Technicality" my rear end, the chief law enforcement officer of the State of South Carolina broke the law and should be held accountable!  I do believe it was the Repuglicans who said "it wasn't the deed, it was the fact that he broke the law" when doing their very best to convict a Democrat!  It's time these guys take their own advice. Here we have Howie Kurtz trying to garner some forgiveness for Mark Sanford.  "'I spent the last five days of my life crying in Argentina' -- with his girlfriend. No carefully scripted talking points, just an overwrought, guilt-ridden man. He came apart on live television. It was riveting, but you couldn't help but feel a mixture of sympathy and revulsion as the self-described 'person of faith' talked about breaching 'God's law.'"  "Sympathy" NO, "Revulsion" YES, it's appalling how Repuglicans use God and the Bible every time they try to get away with their transgressions!

The two faces of the Repuglican Party -- Dumb and Dumber!  Repuglicans represent all that's wrong in America!  The negativity and opposition to all things positive for America are proof that Repuglicans are no longer beneficial to governing for the people!
