Will someone please tell Sarah Palin, it wasn’t the press; it was her own lack of intelligence that did her in!

The GOP just can’t seem to help themselves, they keep picking losers to represent the Party!  First came George Bush and Dick Cheney, and then John McCain and Sarah Palin; who will be next, Bobby Jindal, and your guess is as good as mine!!!

Remember all that negative mumbo jumbo coming from the Repuglicans about (said with a sneer and a snarl) “how does funding birth control affect the economy” and “what do condoms do for the economy”???  Well here’s your answer: “Publicly funded family planning prevents nearly 2 million unintended pregnancies and more than 800,000 abortions in the United States each year,” according to a new report by the Guttmacher Institute. The report also found that every dollar spent on family planning saves taxpayers $4 in costs associated with unintended births to mothers eligible for Medicaid-funded natal care.'" One has to have the intelligence to think beyond the end of one's nose, something the Repuglicans are not capable of doing!!!

This is what happens when non-profit “services” are privatized and money becomes the bottom-line!!!  “According to a new Department of Health and Human Services report, ‘health care costs will top $8,000 per person this year … an increase of $356 per person from last year.’ The Medicare trust fund “is running out of cash more rapidly, and could become insolvent as early as 2016.” HHS estimates that health costs “will reach $13,100 per person in 2018, accounting for $1 out of every $5 spent in the economy.”

Whatever happened to the premise that “ignorance of the law is no excuse”!!!  The mere fact that Bush/Cheney had to ask for an “opinion” is telling in and of itself about their guilt! Bush/Cheney must have known “torture” is illegal, even I knew that! Dick Cheney was supposedly that “trusted, experienced” fellow who knew what he was doing and I believe he did know exactly what he was doing, and that’s why he called on Yoo and Bybee, he needed them to CYA!

Human life is of no concern for those who consider the bottom line money and profits! Greed has become the driving force in this corporate driven world! “… prosecutors say, technicians at a North Carolina plant prepared life-sustaining syringes and shipped them before ensuring that they were sterile. Investigators say they think a rush to maximize profits led Dushyant Patel's AM2PAT Inc. to produce heparin and saline syringes that killed five people and sickened hundreds of others. Some cases resulted in spinal meningitis and permanent brain damage. Officials are now on an international search for the chief executive after he was indicted last week on 10 charges including fraud, false statements and selling adulterated medical devices.” Integrity and ethics have long since gone from those money driven bottom line kind of guys!  This is no less than murder, and if it’s allowed to go by the wayside, we’ll only see more and more people die!!!
