As I listen to all the pundits and bobble heads talking about all the money President Obama is spending in this stimulus bill, I am again reminded of the pallets of shrink-wrapped cash, the tons of cash sent to Iraq that cannot be accounted for, all the money that didn’t benefit the American people gone down some drain to fatten a fat cat’s pocketbook somewhere!!!  “Who in their right mind would send 363 tonnes of cash into a war zone?"  The insane Repuglicans did it!!!

"The administration is rushing to enact a host of last-minute regulations that will screw America for years to come." George Bush's "preemptive" strike on America -- "Bush Sneaks Through Host of Laws to Undermine Obama. The lame-duck Republican team is rushing through radical measures, from coal waste dumping to power stations in national parks, that will take months to overturn." And here's a partial list of Bush "rules": "allow power companies to build coal-fired power stations nearer to national parks ... allow coal-fired stations to increase their emissions without installing new anti-pollution equipment ... opens up millions of acres of land to oil shale extraction, which environmental groups say is highly pollutant ... surrenders government control of rerouting the rail transport of hazardous materials around densely populated areas ... would exempt factory farms from reporting air pollution from animal waste ... allow uranium mining near Grand Canyon ... many injured consumers would no longer be able to sue negligent manufacturers in state courts ... the White House exempted more than 100 major polluters from monitoring their emissions of lead, a deadly neurotoxin ... hamper the government's ability to protect workers from exposure to toxic chemicals ... allow industry to treat 3 billion pounds of hazardous waste as ‘recycling' each year ... burn another 200 million pounds of hazardous waste reclassified as ‘fuel,' increasing cancer-causing air pollution ... upped the number of hours that long-haul truckers can be on the road ... limited vision and dental care for more than 50 million low-income Americans who rely on Medicaid ... seeking to lock in the domestic spying it began even before 9/11 ... To protect the new rules against repeal ... gaming the system to push through its rules."

If you start to “feel sorry” for George Bush because he’s such a sad sack, or because you think Cheney outwitted him at every turn just remember what George did to America!!! “… remember how vast the wreckage is. It stretches from the Middle East to Wall Street to Main Street and even into the heavens …”

The word’s “we don’t torture” didn’t ring true when George Bush first said them, and now someone has stepped forward to tell the truth!!!  "Former Gitmo Guard Tells All: 'The stuff I did and the stuff I saw was just wrong,' he told the Associated Press. Neely describes the arrival of detainees in full sensory-deprivation garb, he details their sexual abuse by medical personnel, torture by other medical personnel, brutal beatings out of frustration, fear, and retribution, the first hunger strike and its causes, torturous shackling, positional torture, interference with religious practices and beliefs, verbal abuse, restriction of recreation, the behavior of mentally ill detainees, an isolation regime that was put in place for child-detainees …”
