BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE
"Celebrity side dish: Ann Coulter under investigation." Like all Repuglicans Ann Coulter thinks she can do whatever she wants, whenever she wants, wherever she wants because she believes she is above the law!

The Repuglican Party is truly insanity run amok!!! "GOP Leaders Embrace Rush Limbaugh As Their ‘Unofficial Leader'"
* * *
History that proves Repuglicans are partisan idiots: "The last time we had a new Democratic president, essentially the same thing happened. Republican congressmen voted against Bill Clinton's 1993 tax and budget proposals, uniformly predicting doom. Raising marginal income tax rates a few points on the wealthy, they charged, would lead to economic ruin. Instead, the exact opposite happened. Over the ensuing eight years, the nation witnessed the creation of 25 million new jobs, a balanced federal budget and steadily rising prosperity."

Gene Lyons and Barney Frank aren't afraid to say it like it is and provide some more historical information that proves Repuglicans are WRONG for America: "... the largest spending bill in history is going to turn out to be the war in Iraq ... And I don't understand why, from some of my conservative friends, building a road, building a school, helping somebody get health care, that's wasteful spending, but that war in Iraq, which is going to cost us over $1 trillion before we're through-yes, I wish we [wouldn't] have done that. We'd have been in a lot better shape fiscally." And just a reminder -- the war in Iraq was a "preemptive, elective war of choice"! George Bush, Dick Cheney, and the Repuglicans chose to wage an offensive war in Iraq!

"SANFORD: ... you've got to look at trade policy, you've got to look at tax policy. You've got to look much more broadly on the foundational setting to economic development." Yeah, trade policy, tax policy and the Repuglican foundational setting to economic development got America right where we are today, and while we're at it, how about taking a look at those "no-bid" contracts and those pallets of cash sent to Iraq and handed out with no questions asked, and if you want to talk tax policy, how about those tax-cuts for the very rich -- these are some of the Repuglican schemes that got America into this current financial disaster!!! Go back to S.C. Governor Sanford, and try taking care of *your state's higher than average unemployment rate, try doing something for your people before spending your time waggling your tongue with some more senseless Repuglican prattle! [*"KING: ... your state unemployment rate is 9.5 percent. Here are three counties in your state, Allendale, Marion and Chester, where the rate is 19.7, 19, 17.3."]
